Relaxing atmosphere, good staff, and friendly owners. Hookah is reasonably priced, drinks were good. No complaints here. Great place to go if your looking to lounge.

This is my favorite hookah lounge to go to. Great environment, modern décor, and awesome service. The bartender is great, and the hookah boys are very helpful. With the live dj and belly dancer, you can’t go wrong! LOVE this place!

Awesome place. They have a very friendly atmosphere and staff. The hookahs are at the perfect price point compared to other places I have been. Over all have had a great experience and recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a great time in a relaxing way.

Hookahs and drinks are extremely overpriced and poorly made. Poor ventilation as well as slow service. I could make a better hookah at home and I’m not even Lebanese. Not worth the money and I don’t think I would go back.

I’m a cigar smoker and I’m always looking for a new place to sit and relax with a drink so I thought I would give them a try. The atmosphere is good, comfy seating and a friendly and inviting staff. Also the owner came over and introduced himself which I appreciated. The selection of cigars was ok, although it could be a lot better, also the prices for these are very high compared to other cigar lounges in the area. You can bring your own, but you must pay a $ 5 cut fee which is ok if your not drinking but if your there having 2 or more drinks the fee should be waved. The bartender I had that night was personable and friendly but did not know how to make a drink that is advertised on the website, I’d stick with beer if I go back.

I’d consider this more of a place for hookah and not cigars.

Best place for an after dinner drink and cigar or hookah. The workers are sooo nice especially Jocelyn.

This is a place that absolutely, 100% needs more business.
The servers were very sweet, and beautiful.
The establishment is beautiful, and well ventilated. There were people smoking cigars and I still left smelling like myself.
Everything was reasonably priced, including the room filled with cigars to choose from.
The main reasons why its not getting more business is because its not located in Boston, the worlds best college town, and its new and the word isn’t out yet.
The only things that I could say for the business:
1) Greet at the door, I didnt know what I was doing so I kind of just grabbed a seat.
2) I would LOVE to see a groupon out for this place, I’ve discovered so many new favorite spots through groupons I’ve purchased.
I’m only home on leave for another week, but I’m going to try and grab a few friends and bring them so I can try and help get the word out. They’re doing a great job here, and it’s killing me that theyre not busier on a Saturday night.
I wanted to go somewhere other than Nile or the Sheesha lounge, where I’d have to sit and wait outside in the cold to get a seat after searching forever for parking. This was a great win.

Ok… so we were done with the bullshit in Haverhill and its seedy bars. Nuff said.
Unilocaled bars in the local area and came up with this place, what a great experience. Sexy, classy, good vibe… great cigar selection and the only one of its kind in the area. We will be frequenting this establishment more often. From here on out.

Came here on a friday night. Right when you enter you’ll see a full bar, and to your right you’ll see a bunch of nice sofas and tables which, of course are for the hookah. First thing you cant enter with a drink, not even a water bottle. No drinks allowed. I ordered a shirley temple which ranged about $ 2.50. Hookah was about $ 25 with standard flavors. I ordered a double apple. Id recommend going with a bunch of people, not 3 loll. Background music is cool, the smell when you walk in is strong but once you’re in there you get used to it. Hookah tobacco lasted for like 45 mins. They have a room with all cigars that you can choose from. Pretty cool experience.

Good cigar bar. Hookah was not my thing but I tried it. Drinks are best on the rocks or straight up, as they were a little watery if not. Go with the beer if you want to play it safe. Place feels like it is still trying to find its legs, so will give it a break for still being on the learning curve. Was there in June 2012.

We went for my sisters 18^th birthday. what a nice atmosphere. She loved it, we got three hookahs, all for standard 20 – 30 dollar pricing, 20 for reg flavors and 30 for starbuzz. Seems to be the same price around the country.
The staff there is great, they’re very nice. But as far as speed, the hookahs come out fast, the bar is a bit slow. I think they’re all kind new, they did just open recently. It took at each about 5 – 10 minutes to get a drink. Not to be addressed, just to have it made.

This place is incredible!!! Went here with my wife for my birthday and we had a great time. Good cigar selection, or you can bring your cigar for a $ 5 cutting fee! I would recommend to anyone who is a cigar or hookah smoker. Finally you don’t have to travel to Boston or Manchester for a good cigar bar!

Hookah (and cigar) bars are only starting to pop up in the east coast. For a long time you had to choose between going up to Manchester or far south to Boston, now you have something in between at Salem. Easily accessible by the highway, located in a business district, and close to the mall — all these factors make Cloud Palace a prime location for fun.
When you first walk in you’ll notice that it’s one big open room with a bar running along the wall. The lighting is ambient enough to see everything, and the rest is filled in by light from the five TVs. Even though all the TVs are tuned into different channels and sporting events, people are all doing their own thing and chatting among themselves. I think the total seating for the place must be about forty people, so I’m really curious about coming back on a Friday or Saturday.
Service is very on-​point, and you would not know that they’ve been open for less than a month. Although, I think that our server wearing heels might be a bit too much. There’s open flames, hookahs, cigars, drinks, furniture, and plenty of room for accidents to happen. We were properly tended to when drinks were done, and she was very conversational.
Alcohol selection is FANTASTIC. They have some fine whiskeys, nice gins (I saw Hendrick’s gin right off the bat), and even non-​alcoholic flavorings for advanced mixed drinks. I would say they have at least sixty different liquors, and six drafts.
Pricing is very reasonable. Between the five of us, we got a hookah and three draft beers. The total was about forty five bucks. Craft gin on the rocks was a little steep at eleven dollars a piece though. I was expecting a bit more of a heavy pour, but I got the standard three-​count/​two ounces.
Cloud Palace needs to work on obtaining a larger selection of shisha (flavored tobacco for the hookah) and cigars. They also need to work on a banner or something more visible outside, it is easy to miss this gem. Aside from that, I can foresee this location getting really busy in the near future — and I wish them the best in their endeavors. I’ll definitely be back in the future to see if they have drinks specials and check up on them.

Been trying to expand my horizons and trying out new hookah bars. This is a lovely gem that is a nice addition to the area, and pretty reasonable in regards to travel time from MA. It opened within the last month, and the inside of the lounge was very sleek. There was also a ventilation system that helped to keep the air clear.
The workers there tonight were very friendly and attentive. Our server checked on us several times to see if we needed anything, and another worker brought over some complimentary snacks to enjoy with our hookah and drinks. Before we left, what I am assuming is a manager shook our hand and told us to have a nice night.
The prices were very reasonable. and the quality of what we got for the amount we spent was spot on. This is definitely a place I will enjoy coming to again!
