I decided to try SportClips when I was at a veterans event and saw that they sponsor Ageless Aviation Dreams providing free rides for our aging vets. Great people, great program. When I arrived, their sports-themed shop was shiny clean and the staff very friendly. I waited about 10 minutes, just long enough to peruse an issue of «Car and Driver» and it was my turn. I heartily recommend the full«MVP» treatment with a hair wash, neck rub and hot towel, marvelous. Then it was time for the cut. Now I’m 60 years old and know better than to expect a miracle from a haircut(if you could see me, you would fully understand…) but this was the best. I guess specialization really can be a good thing. These ladies cut men’s hair professionally every day and it shows. Way to go SportClips. I’ll be back.

Great first experience, MVP treatment all the way! Whitney was awesome and had more knowledge of men’s hair that I typically see at other places. I’ll definitely be back!

I’m typically wary of chains in general, especially when it comes to hair places. And while the idea of being able to watch sports on TV while getting my hair cut sounded appealing, a themed spot to get a haircut initially struck me as cheesy. But for reasons I can’t explain, I decided to give this place a shot. And I’m glad I did. I’ve endured salons salons for years… barbers may as well be butchers when it comes to my hair. Like it or not, I’ve just had to accept that I have«stylist» hair. Now I’ve got the best of both worlds: it’s kinda like a barbershop but with stylists(and they all do a great job)…and did I mention that you can watch sports? I’ve been here probably 10 times, and I definitely recommend it. Maybe if they just added a few tap handles…

I asked my husband to take my sweet 92 year old Grampa in for a haircut so he could look nice and cleaned up for Veterans Day. I wasn’t there but my husband said the woman assigned to my Grampa acted like she didn’t even want to touch him. She definitely didn’t want to help him up in the chair or getting off the chair. They charged him $ 18 for basically shaving his head, which is not what they asked for. Even then the short hairs she left were uneven. I will not go back here and neither will my husband. My Grampa should be treated with respect not disgust.
