Okay store, doesn’t have a very large selection, nice produce and very courteous staff. Baked goods leave a little to be desired.

worst supermarket in Salem — HAND’S DOWN. i will never go back to this location. super bad variety. no selection of specialty anything. can’t find anything else, due to the store’s size. ugh ugh ugh. there is absolutely NO POINT to this location. it makes the Center St. Safeway look like Whole Foods in comparison!

As far as meat and produce go, Roths is the best. I alwaus check here for my meat and produce before going anywhere else.
Check out the Porketta in the meat section. It is to die for.

WOW this small town feel of a store hit the jack pot with me. I needed a fondant cake and Grace the bakers right hand took my order and hand held me all the way. The cake tasted fresh and the filling was light and not to sweet. Every one at the baby shower raved. I was born in Salem and as far back as I remember this grocery store has always been there. MUST BE DOING LOTS RIGHT!
