Redhawk if my favorite quick stop wine tasting perhaps in the entire valley. I feel comfortable wearing jeans here and the wine is fantastic. Good red variety, taster fee is waived with bottle purchase, and the atmosphere is super chill. I absolutely love how rich and developed some of their reds are. Superb quality and great prices!

Redhawk has some of the BEST wines I’ve had. When going to a wine tasting, there is usually one I may like out of the tastings. I love every wine they make. Their view is breathtaking, overlooking the willamette valley, and a great place to take a picnic lunch and soak in the beauty. John And Betty and staff are always so welcoming and make us feel at home.

We visited Redhawk Vineyard & Winery 10 days ago. We had the BEST time with the tasting room experience and loved the wine so much, we made a ½ case purchase and joined their club. Excellent value, wonderful family.

Phenomenal winery! We left with 5 cases! Favorites were the Riesling, Pinot Noir and Tempernillo. Basically we loved it all except the rose but we’re not rose fans to begin with.

Fantastic family and vineyard, I have been coming here for three years now and I am never disappointed by the wine or the friendliness of the people who work there. John and Betty Pataccoli should be proud.

Great little place to bring the dogs and kids and have a picnic. The tasting room is small but the owners and employees are very friendly. This was my first trip here. I enjoyed trying the rose to the Tempranillo dessert wine. Five dollar tasting which is waved with purchase. Worth the while to stop by.

Not only is the wine amazing … The people are even better. I spent a Sunday afternoon at Redhawk winery and was quite possibly the most perfect day. The owners and staff at Redwawk are passionate and happy, and that translates to a great environment where everyone has a great time. The view is breathtaking and the wine is delicious. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a memorable experience!

Loved the hospitality, wines and beautiful vineyards. I plopped myself down at one of the tables inside the tasting room and worked for a few hours enjoying glasses of Chardonnay and Riesling, then later on did the wine tasting. The reds were various Pinot Noirs and the estate was my favorite. The gal behind the bar was so great! Super warm and friendly to both me and my two pups that were there, and made us feel welcome the entire time. This winery is one of the reasons I’ll remember my trip to Salem so fondly.

What a great last minute adventure. We live in Seattle and are on a road trip to southern CA to visit family. We showed up 5 minutes before closing and enjoined some amazing wines. Our favorite wine was the 2012 Mourvedre. The wine was only out shined by the very friendly service of Hailey. Thank you for a memorable experience. Oops… I forgot to mention the view. I wished we’d have come earlier and took time to admire the view that only God could create. It’s indescribable beauty that you must see for yourself.

I recommend stopping by this place because we had a very nice experience here. The woman who was doing the tasting(Jessica I think?) was very gracious and welcoming. The other people in the tasting room were mostly locals and members; they knew Jessica very well and were all so friendly. It was like walking into Cheers if Cheers was a tasting room and not a bar in Boston. I really enjoyed a red blend(Cab/Mourvedrie/Sangiovese) they were tasting that day.

Memorial day weekend! First time at Red Hawk Winery and it won’t be the last time. Wonderful music, wines, food and ambiance. The owners mingled with the crowd and were very gracious. The weather improved by the minute and the fun improved as well. Good times, great wine and perfect setting for a picnic. Thanks.

After a decade of regular wine tasting, Redhawk is still my go-to winery when I have guests in town. The owners and staff are friendly and passionate, their wines are top notch and such a value. I recently brought a group of friends from out of town on a tour and Redhawk was unanimously the most loved of them all. John and Betty, the owners, are so incredibly gracious and make you feel so welcome. Their selection of wines is exceptional, they offer a little something for everyone from a perfectly lovely table Pinot to the Paticcoli Family Vineyard Pinot that continues to be one of my favorite Pinot Noirs of all time. It is such a treasure and gem. Being a part of their wine club has been one of the most rewarding choices I’ve made as a wine lover.

Excellent winery. I am most impressed with the distinct redhawk black cherry notes that accompany many of their delicious reds. Their earth is producing a unique wine that offers curious fruit flavors with richness. I’ll definitely revisit them and encourage you to try them. They also have a great view and offer savory food at their open house parties. Very nice and memorable.

My daughter and I ended up here after a recommendation from another winery. We had a lovely chat with the wine pourer and sampled some good wines. A cute little place — glad we went!

You have to hit up this place when wine tasting. They have good wines plus the food pairings with the tastings was delicious. I went with a group during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend where all the local wineries open their doors for wine tasting.
