First, they rang my doorbell when I have a «no soliciting» sign up. That, in itself, annoys me. If you have to ignore a «no soliciting» sign, you’re trying too hard. Get a better product.
Second, when I asked the dude why he chose to ignore the sign, he said he was at my neighbors house, and they have hobo spiders. He wanted to warn me against the danger of the hobo spider. (We don’t have them, and if we did, they’re not poisonous).
He chose to knock on my door, then give me a fear based sales pitch. I’d avoid them like the plague.
