As a native New Yorker and Texas resident, I’ve shopped in more than a few national-​class jewelry stores. Jackson Jewelers is a gem right here in Salem. They are long-​established and centrally located with a very pleasant interior. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The carefully selected collection of jewelry and watches spans a variety of tastes and budgets. First-​class in every way!

I took wedding ring, which was purchased in California, here to have a tiny stone reset which I brought in with the ring. My experience was terrible. When I dropped off my ring, they didn’t want to do the work because the ring hadn’t been purchased through them, but when I told them it was from CA and I wouldn’t be going back there and I’d either have them or another local place do the work they changed their mind. Once they said they would do it it took 45 minutes for them to document my ring into their computer system, which froze so they had to start over. They told me they wouldn’t promise they could reset anything about 10 times before I could leave. After not hearing from them for 2 weeks I got a call saying it was ready. Upon picking up my ring I was pissed off to find out that not only had they reset the stone I brought in with me, they were charging me for a stone they lost in their cleaning machine, the cost of resetting that, and work on 8 prongs they repaired. What should have been a $ 20 repair was now $ 220 for work I didn’t ask for, things they messed up, and they never approved with me. I won’t be going back!

this business has been around for a very long time and has a great reputation.
very friendly staff but they should be when they’re taking a lot of money out of your pocket.

My fiancé just had my custom engagement ring created and made at Jackson’s Jewelers. It is beautiful & we get so many compliments on it. Brett was awesome to work with. He even met my fiancé in Portland to show him some options for the center stone, which was a hard stone to find (not common). Brett went out of his way to ensure that our ring stayed within budget and was completed by the time my fiancé wanted to propose. We would definitely use them again. My fiancé and I have had a truly wonderful experience with Jackson Jewelers. We drive down from Washington just to work with Damon. He has been so accommodating and friendly, even offering to meet us when the store is closed. Every jeweler I have dealt with in the store has been so helpful and nice. The jewelry is beautiful and high quality. Highly recommend!

This is where Ryan, my hubby, bought my wedding ring set in Nov. 2007 and I have gotten nonstop compliments about the quality & uniqueness of the ring. They worked really well with us to incorporate heirloom diamonds (from my Grandma’s & his Grandma’s engagement rings) into the design. From purchase onward, they have had really great customer care and continued to keep me happy with the ring with cleaning & sizing it as appropriate. I definitely recommend Jackson’s Jewelers for your next jewelry purchase.

Jackson Jewelers has outstanding customer service. If you want high end top quality then this is the place to go. They have a great selection of rings, bracelets, etc. and what I love most about this jewelry store is that they also offer Rolex watches, men’s and women’s. They also do repairs, and they do them in a timely fashion.
