hope they come back. I had no real issues with GARLICJIMS. got the 2 pizza 2 top special 22.89 quite a few times… I liked it. Very strong garlic taste when they first opened, but not a prob for me, tho’ they seemed to tone it down or something after a while, and it was better pie for it. No real issues either way I prefer big thin-ish NY style pizza overall, if done well, but I also appreciate squared, deep-dished, little Caesars, frozen, whatever. If it’s bad, it’s bad… if it’s good, I’ll prolly appreciate it for some reason or other. anyway… I know this is not GOURMET pizza, and that I do prefer non-chain pizza types way over this, but sometimes… ya know… sometimes, it just happens. forgive me, but I just don’t think that they are that bad… someone said they are just re-locating…I dunno, but actually stopped at the SALEM Garlic Jims and brought home 2 pies recently. THAT store is in a strip mall kind o’ place, and has one tiny waiting/eating table and small lobby for picking up. Huge kitchen area visible, I was surprised it was more of a pick up, take-out operation. All good, same pizza, PIZZA was good, and close by. my daughter really liked the taste, the dough, the Hawaiian pizza. They didn’t last long…, and boy… BOB’S BURGERS that took over that spot is not getting good Unilocal at all.

Their pizza may be good but customer service poor. Called to place an order to be delivered and they wanted to put me on hold for a few minutes. Told them I would call back but am ordering from someplace else if they say that again when I call back. This is not the way to keep customers

Delish Pizza! ! Healthy Pizza at that! From the garlic options to the Gluten free options. you can eat pizza and not feel guilty because you’re choosing a healthier version of it. A variety of options.. Great customer service. I have it delivered and they’re quick, polite&efficient! Best pizza place in Salem! !

Service is incredible and the pizza is literally the best in town. You’ve got to try it! Puts all the other pizza places to shame.

My wife and I live within 5 minutes from this Garlic Jim’s. We love the pizza here. We have had several kinds of pizza and especially love their pepperoni pizza. We would strongly recommend this pizza location. Come over and try it.

As it was really hot and we didn’t want to heat up the house, I was trying to think of something for dinner that would be easy and not involve having to go to the grocery store(I was recovering from surgery and can’t drive yet). We hadn’t ordered from Garlic Jim’s in awhile and I quickly remembered why. They can never get my order right. I ordered online so you would think that that would be easier to follow along with than someone having had to hand write a phone in order, but apparently not. I ordered a veggie pizza add spinach and parmesan and remove the onion, and a green salad with no dressing and no onion. They were running an online special so I got a medium cheese as well. They did manage to get the onions off of my pizza, I couldn’t say as much for the salad. My husband ended up picking all of the onions out of the salad before he served it to me.(Bless him) They did not, however, manage to get the spinach or the parmesan onto the pizza. For quality of pizza it is not bad for delivery pizza, but I really need to remember that I will never get what I order.

This place has went down hill! I’ve been getting pizza here for over 5years seen it sold and stayed because I enjoyed the people and pizza. For the last year every time I ordered pizza they get it wrong and im given a 50% off next time or say sorry but its gets old fast if every time its the wrong pizza like how hard it is to get pepperoni and pineapple wrong?!? Yet again I called and order a salad for pick up, I go in and both guys are on there cell phones the guy with a red beard who is rude from the get didnt even greet me, i said hi im her to pick up a salad he then says that I cant order a chop salad with artichokes I told him I ordered this many time with know problem he then(with a attitude) says we cant because they don’t have a button to add it nor do they have a button to take anything off the salad… he then walks back to a guy that says so we gonna put it on? Fyi that guy didnt wash his hands before touching my food…(Gross!) I was done by then, the guy was rude to me, I had order for pickup it wasn’t done and they hadn’t even started it… they made me feel unwelcome so I told him I didn’t want the salad anymore and he said well you have a good day with a rude smirk and I turned around and said I want my money back! he gave it back to me and I left… saying that this place has gone down hill and I will never come back!!!

Pizza was just OK. Basically pretty mediocre. PROBLEMIS, Unilocal put the pin in the wrong spot. It is actually about five miles south of downtown. When we called trying to figure out where they were the worker was pretty inept and clueless.

The pizza’s great! But please note that the location is much farther out S Liberty street than the pin shows – it’s incorrect by about a 10-minute drive!

Not good, very disappointed. My dressing expired May of 2013. My husband called them and all they said was that were sorry.

Best pizza I have had anywhere in Salem. Really doughy, thick crust and lots of marinara sauce on the pie. Fresh veggies, good meat… I just ate but I could dive into a slice of Garlic Jim’s ultimate pizza any time!!!

We have gotten pizza here before & it’s pretty good but tonight we got a pizza with their gluten free crust and we are VERY pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was. As gluten-free options become more prevalent frequently taste is sacrificed but not here. Yum! And no tummy bloat :)

Go there for lunch. They have a personal pizza and 12oz soda for $ 5. I dare you to find that good of a deal anywhere else.

Good meat lovers pizza. I liked it allot. I do order mine«easy on the sauce». The price was a little high for pizza but as a consumer we have been programmed with ads to think all pizza should be $ 10 or less. Even though I am from out of town I signed up for their email specials and use them when I come back to Salem for a visit.

Man! I don’t know what you guys have been having… a bad day? A bad life? This is one of the very few pizzarias that serve a gluten-free pizza crust… a bit oily, but acceptable. We always order the Cashew pizza crust…plus add and subtract a couple of things. As far as price: Paddington’s is about the same, and after all this time they STILL use canned mushrooms. Plus, no gluten-free crust available. Too bad they don’t have a lunch pizza like Paddington’s, tho.

Good thing my mother in law had a 10 gift certificate. That place was horrible and ridiculously over priced!!!

Holy crap, they have good pizza. Maybe it’s just that I was hungry, but it was epically good. They could stand to have more canned sodas available for those of us who aren’t ordering takeout, but other than that I have no complaints.

We ordered from a Garlic Jim’s(not this location — possibly it got axed already) when we first moved to Salem in November. Our chicken-bacon-ranch pizza arrived squashed against one side of the box, and the delivery kid didn’t even try to hide the fact that he was expecting a tip. The pizza itself was okay — good flavor, but weirdly chewy chicken. We’re sticking with Little Caesar’s.

Ordered a cheese pizza. Not hard to mess up, right? I was wrong. Remember is elementary school — they had pretty decent pizza? Well, this place makes that pizza(and actually Little Caesers) taste gourmet. Seriously — barf barf barf. For one, cheese pizza needs good quality cheese. Not here. Then it needs a decent sauce. Not here. This place makes Walerys pizza look decent… and I don’t like Walerys. Ugh place.
