New Image Nail Salon and Spa

I’m in town visiting a friend. She gave me a coupon to this place and I must say I’m quite impressed. Very clean facilities and equipment. The staff was fantastic… Very kind and professional and gave me the best mani/​pedi I’ve had in a long time! Thank you!!!

For a salon that charges slightly-​higher-​than-​average prices, I’m sad to say that less than 12 hours after my manicure, several of my nails have already started to chip. The lady who did my nails was pleasant, but obviously rushed through the process. It was pretty much «lotion, file, swipe of polish, NEXT.»

New Image was an ok experience. The staff were not that friendly and there was kind of a negative vibe as a whole. Definitely not very relaxing or tranquil. The person that did my nails did do a good job, especially since I had been biting my nails and she did not have much to work with! But the negative energy of the space definitely kind of killed the experience.

I’ve been to New Image Spa many times and this is my go-​to place to get a mani or pedi. The place is big and they have a lot of nail techs and stations — so they are able to take care of customers pretty fast. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and taken care of promptly. The salon is clean and they offer wine/​beverages to their customers. Prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area and the staff seem to go out of their way to make their customers happy — there’s always a lot of regulars while I’m there so they must be doing something right!
I was in yesterday for a pedi/​gel and was taken care of by Lily and Jeramie. I’d definitely recommend both of them!

I have been going to Thea for my pedicure for many years. She does an amazing job and is such a sweet n kind woman. Ask for her. You won’t be disappointed.

I don’t usually get my nails done so I recently decided to splurge and get a mani/​pedi. I am searching for the right nail place for me and I started with New Image. It’s in a convenient location because you can do your grocery shopping or pick up dinner after you get your nails done. (They are located in a plaza with a Publix and a few restaurants.)
I didn’t schedule ahead of time and they were able to accommodate me in about 5 minutes on a busy Sunday afternoon. My nail person did not introduce herself or really talk at all, so I wouldn’t even know who she was to ask for her again. Everything was ok and she made sure to put 3 coats of polish on since I picked a lighter color. On day 4 my nail color still looks good but the tops are starting to chip. Not too bad.

New Image isn’t a bad place but after being a patron at their sister salon, Royal Palms… it is night and day.
This is more of the ugly step sister, chaotic, strip mall sorta place. But in a crunch — it gets the job done and they are clean which is most important. This was my go-​to place for years actually so I am told really on the rating.
They do great gel nails but their pedicures I feel could be better.

I am always pleased by the level of service. Although I think a few people here should go to class for massage the rest ol my experience here is excellent.

When ever I go to St. Petersburg, New Image is the place I get my nails done. It is clean, the staff is friendly, the quality of the manicures and pedicures is very good and to top it off, they gave me a HUGE glass of wine. Down side — they are not the best place for eyebrows, I won’t get mine done there again. But I’m still a big fan of the way they do their clients nails.

This is a great nail salon. Sterile nail packs are used. Friendly staff.
