Landmark Motel

Good Value for the price, friendly staff, very clean room. Enjoyed the stay!

Never again. I actually live fairly close to this motel and only go there when my husband and I are arguing because I have a 4 month old and a 2 year old and I don’t want them exposed to yelling. I have a LaQuinta right down the street but this place usually charges $ 56. I went there at 3:30am with the kids and was charged $ 80. When I questioned him on the price he said «oh you’ve been here before» he claimed the room was more because it was a double and he had no singles available. It was the same room I always get. There were only 3 cars in the parking lot. He also said it was a non smoking room but clearly wasn’t because I actually don’t smoke, but there were cigarette burns on the furniture and the whole room smelled like smoke. The remote didn’t work. They woke us up at 10am to see if we were staying another night then made us check out at 10:30am. The LaQuinta is only $ 70 a night, cleaner, offers breakfast, and check out 11am. They have lost my business for life. I only ever went there because it was cheap but the guy over charged me because I woke him up or something.

Much more than we expected. We were having problems with our car and pulled in around 10:30 a.m. They let us check in early and were quite accommodating. The room is very clean. Bed is comfortable. We had to extend our stay while our car was being repaired and they went out of their way to ensure our comfort. This is a hidden gem. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Fast wi-​fi. Simple, clean and safe. Only drawback is the sound of those walking on the second floor. However, the beds are so comfortable that you won’t notice. About half the price of hotels closer to town. Would highly recommend.
