Craig Joseph R, DDS

My family and myself have been patients of Dr. Craig for over decades and will be as long my insurance will accept them.
The star has always been professional and courteous to me and my family for the past decade that we have been here. The staff has ALWAYS been courteous and caring (especially when need to reschedule) and the hygienists are very thorough and don’t take more than 45 minutes cleaning on average.
What makes this place unique compared to anywhere you have been are the BUNNIES! Yass, you read that right, there are bunnies in every single window to lighten the mood if you don’t like to watch TV in front of you while having your teeth cleaned.
As for the exterior, they just updated the façade to have it more of a «professional» look but one can tell from the side that it looks like more of a home than an actual practice. Regardless of the fact, I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This practice is not exactly state of the art. The people seem nice enough. Office décor is dated and sad. Bunnies are nice to watch, but I prefer a practice that is up to date over bunnies. Dentist is a lovely man, but didn’t really seem very thorough during my exam. The whole experience was just a little too home town dentist for my taste. This practice seems to be heading toward retirement, and not on the cusp of current dentistry. But I’m sure some people like gentle friendly dentists and Dr. Craig is definitely that.

I am writing this with a tooth that is still soar and yet I am not disappointed in the slightest! Most important I have a good feeling that Joseph Craig, DDS will be my dentist for a long time.
This was my first visit today on an emergency basis. And like most personal emergencies turn out, the professionals disagree! That being the case, the office went through great lengths to accommodate me on about 2 hours notice! It was impressive and the main reason I selected this office (thanks to Taylor E.‘s review). I was very pleased.
They squeezed me in at 3:30 to see my tooth pain that had progressively worsened through the day and orajel did nothing to help. I had a numb mouth and a throbbing tooth.
The office has a clean updated appearance outside. Inside, it is clean and has a spacious lobby. There is updated television and plenty of reading material. I sat in pain but still appreciated the comfort.
One entire wall is a big window to a small private yard with BUNNIES! I did not notice in the lobby whether the bunnies came around but from my operating chair I could see them. They also had personal televisions to watch in the rooms if the bunnies are napping. The televisions are on mechanical arms and swing right in front of your face.
Instant quick digital X-​rays right in the room. Very convenient. And despite the 8+ years since I have been to a dentist, my teeth showed minimal signs of the lack of professional cleanings. I brush daily, but a night brush or floss are more rare than I like to admit.
The hygienist was very nice and clearly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She educated me and gave tips without being pushy or lecturing. It was a relief, especially for me.
Dr. Craig is very friendly. I sense he has strong solid character. The problem is that the X-​rays came back showing no decay (in the problem area, who knows what will show when I get a full cleaning and inspection). Now it is still possible I need a root canal, but today is only the first day of pain. So rather than perform an unnecessary procedure and after careful consultation with Dr. Craig I opted to hold off (for at least 1 full night) and see what happened. Dr. Craig left the final decision to me and I felt well informed. I was very impressed with his professionalism.
Hopefully I won’t have to update this after getting a root canal tomorrow, but if so, I trust that it will go smoothly. For now I sit in pain share my experience in hopes it will aid other Unilocalers. Dr. Craig did the right thing by not taking advantage of my sense of urgency. Sometimes you learn a lot more from things that people don’t do! I wish Dr. Craig had a cousin that was a car mechanic!

I was here a few months ago for tooth pain. I’m going back next month for a cleaning. I like the fact that I could get in the same day when I called them and said I had pain. They were very compassionate and understanding about that. I also like that the x-​rays were digital and very
hygienist took the time to show me things on the x-​ray. I really appreciated that part. overall the staff was really friendly and helpful. This was nice and refreshing because I’d come here just having a bad experience from a chain dental place. I didn’t feel he took advantage of me. i’m excited to go back. The reason why knocked off one star is because parts of the office seemed a little cluttered and dated. The staff is knowledgeable in the equipment was clean.

Great service! Local! Bunnies! Came in for a wisdom teeth extraction got it out within the hour. Highly recommended.
