It was such a pleasure working with Cheers on our last charity gala in Tampa Bay. They went above and beyond with their setup and décor and completely transformed our gym into a ballroom. Thank you!!!

Cheers Events a top quality planning company in the Greater Tampa Bay Area and they also offer the ability to host events at their location in the Warehouse Arts District in St. Petersburg, Florida. I have personally attended several different events at their venue ranging from the upscale, to the more casual laid back art show, to the family friendly bbq’s during the summertime. Every event, every occasion, everything that Cheers Events is involved with is always top over the top and amazing.
One of the most memorable adult events that I personally attended was an evening of art — «A Courtyard Collective» held back in Nov 2013. Cheers Events opened their warehouse location to local artists and food vendors and there was a band playing on a beautifully lit stage. There were hundreds of people who attended, and several of the artists sold their work. They open their doors during many different monthly events as well, such as the various art walks.
One of the memorable family events that I attended with my daughter, was a smaller «family style bbq» in the summer of 2013, at their warehouse. Most people have a small bbq at home for the 4^th of July– but to to the Cheer’s Events owners and employees, their family extends out by the dozens through all the people they do business with — so their «family style bbq» was quite over the top, as they can’t do a «small bbq». There was a full spread of food, several grills fired up — plus tables of crafts for the kids and large inflatables for the kids to play on. They also had the «Pirates Pub» open for the adults during the BBQ.
In addition to the first hand Cheers Events Experiences that I have had, I have seen thousands of photographs from their events via their active Facebook page. All of the events that Cheers Events creates are truly top notch. I have referred several of my clients to them, and no one has been disappointed.

In response to SJ let me start by disclosing that I own IM Events — an event company that is a competitor of Cheers. That said, over the past 10 years I have found that Cheers is an upstanding company who operates very ethically, and they deliver quality at their events. One has to understand there are inherent risks of rain and high wind (at the beach) for any event taking place outside — specifically in Florida. I think this client has to be a little more realistic.
As to the comment about their staff — I know these guys. They are industry experts who have a wealth of experience and take pride in thier work. The lighting they utilize is industry standard.

I have to start by saying I did give the company a chance to right the wrongs, however Beth Clark only replied «thank you for the feedback». Ha! They have my money, so I suppose it doesn’t mean anything at all now?
I had linens, uplighting, chairs, charger plates as well as a lights and fabric treatment on the terrace outside. The uplighting was costly and did nothing to the room, as the lights were not very powerful. I would not recommend them for any service, considering they do not have people that care the outcome, however I definitely would not use their lighting. As for the outside treatment on the terrace level –The day of the wedding I went to our room to check out what was going on. The staff Beth Clark sent didn’t seem to know exactly what was going on, and the guys outside were having quite a time trying to get the lights and fabric hung because of the wind. As a result of weather we ended up having the cocktail hour inside and did not use the terrace except for smokers. By the time we did go on the terrace the fabric and lights were hanging and looked like a wreck. I shared this information with Beth Clark at Cheers Events and she thanked me. She did not offer ANY compensation for the mess on the terrace, and did not seem to care that the lighting was useless. Please do not get suckered in to using them because they are on property. I would not recommend them to anyone for anything.
