We needed a small cement job and their bid was very reasonable. They came by on time and poured our pad carefully and quickly. Many times guys just come in and slop it down while you race around with a rake. These guys were very cool and did good work. I recommend them and I’m very happy with the job.

Absolutely nothing but nice things to say about this company. I’ve had flag stone and mulch delivered to my home. Each time the delivery was on time and the delivery driver even put the materials right next to my project making it easier on me. When ordering my materials the sales guys in the office were very helpful and knowledgeable on all of the products I was inquiring about. I would highly recommend Carroll’s!

I’ve been there twice to get landscaping materials and the counter guys never seem to be especially friendly or helpful. I won’t be going back after my last visit. I asked for help with the different rocks from the counter guys and one pointed towards the door and muttered«outside». I had no clue what me meant so I inquired. Apparently this question was below his pay grade as he huffed and said«guys outside, they’ll help you». After finding the only courteous gentleman employed there I went back inside to get the pricing. They gave me the price and I said great I’d like to get about 20 of the rocks. Again I got the outside, but this time I knowing he was incapable of complete sentences I simply headed for the door and found the same nice gent who helped me before. He took the time to help me pick out the best rocks for my project, weight them and help me load up my truck. After correcting the gents math who rung me up I headed out vowing to never return. I’d rather pay higher prices for courteous and knowledgeable service than feel like I was bothering the staff. I don’t care how far I need to go to get my materials for the rest of my landscape project but I won’t go here. How they keep their jobs treating the public that pays their salary like simply more dumb rocks is beyond me.

Either they are understaffed or their customer service is really that bad. When I went to their office to purchase the materials, there was only one person in there, and I had to wait quite a while, since each transaction is not a quick, easy, standard retail cash register transaction. However, at the time, I simply figured they were unusually busy, so I waited, placed my order, scheduled delivery, and went on my way. The next day, we decided that we should increase the order, as it would be better to have too much then not enough, so since it is 25 – 30 minutes away, and I did not need to get help choosing the materials this time, I figured I would just call, and add the appropriate material to the order. When I called, a very pleasant young woman answered, and when I explained to her what I needed she said she would transfer me to someone who could help me. Shortly after that, she came back, and said they were all too busy to help me, and someone would call me back later. At this point, I am beginning to think that they either do not want my money, or they are horribly understaffed! The only remotely positive part of this whole thing is that they did call back within a few hours, and I did get the additional materials ordered. We had requested, and needed delivery as early as possible, and when I had originally ordered the materials, I was told that we would be the second run of the day, and while it should be earlier, they could not guarantee any earlier than noon. While I was not thrilled, I was willing to deal with that. I was not quite sure why I had to wait for the other delivery when both their phone recording and their website both claim to have their own fleet of semis and dump trucks. However, at this point, it was not worth fighting over. Then comes delivery day. The morning of delivery, my husband(who was the contact for the job and the day of) got a call that they were having problems with the truck, and it had to go to the mechanics for a couple hours, so they would be running late.(Again, where is this FLEET of trucks that they supposedly have). Throughout the day my husband called three separate times for updates to find out where they were, and when they would be coming. The job was waiting on this delivery. Each time he called, he was given an attitude of «oh well, there is nothing we can do.» There was no apologizing for any inconvenience or any concern on their part at all. The materials were finally delivered at around 5:15 pm with little care or concern. There was a tarp placed out for the materials to be dumped onto in order to make the rest of the job cleaner as well as easier, but only half of the materials actually made it onto the tarp. There just seems to be no care or concern for the quality or the service given to the customer. I understand that they may be the biggest or one of the biggest in the area, but perhaps, I will search out, and find one of the smaller companies they next time I need landscaping materials rather than deal with this nightmare again!
