Love Love Love this place. Family owned and operated! When you walk in it doesn’t look like much but their pizza(ST Louis style) is delicious !!! You’ve gotta try this place! It’s worth it!

I have no idea why I have never been here before but after 27 years of living in St. Charles County I finally visited Francesco’s. It is small inside, maybe about 10 – 12 tables. The atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly and the prices are fantastic. We ordered a bacon pizza and two side salads. The Sicilian dressing was delicious and the pizza-thin crust with provel cheese and wonderfully cooked bacon was beyond fantastic. I will be back soon and often. I cannot say enough about Francesco’s and so happy I decided to finally stop in.

My favorite pizza place in the world. Thin crust is PERFECT, extra PROVEL CHEESE, Italian Sausage, Green Pepper, Onion, Mushroom is my choice. Dining in is comfortable and uncomplicated that has a great neighborhood feel to it. However, seating capacity is maybe 30 people, so get there early. This is our destination when traveling through the area if we have time to stop because the taste and quality of the pizza is the best I have had. Take it from a pilot who earns a living eating in restaurants the world over(especially Italy) Greg(the owner) cares about his customers in a very personal way and it shows in his attention to quality, detail, and service. Take out or dine in; you will be VERYSATISFIED !

I had been a customer of the restaurant years ago and had moved to St. Louis and hadn’t visited for probably seven years. While visiting family I remembered Francesca’s and was excited to share the delicious pizza I remembered with my husband and son. We ordered a large pizza and the fried fish dinner. The pizza was still good and my husband loved it. The fish dinner was absolutely disgusting. It was frozen fish sticks that came out wet and in edible. I was so embarrassed to have chosen the place. As we were leaving I took my two year old son to the bathroom. It was so dirty! There was no place to change my son so that was an experience trying to change a standing toddler. No way would I have laid him on the floor. As we were leaving my husband was still talking about the pizza, but having seen the cleanliness standards no way we’ll be back. Get back to basics! Clean spaces and greasy foods!

I discovered this place by word of mouth, and so happy i did! This place is definitely a dive of a restaurant, but it adds to the charm! It is hands down my favorite pizza in St. Louis… by a long shot! I’ve eaten there at least a few dozen times, and have never been disappointed. If you want to party, there is a fun bar next door that they are working with and will deliver to you there.(I don’t believe they deliver otherwise) It is a must if you are in the area.

This is kind of a small joint but the pizza is awesome. The Francesco’s salad with their house made creamy italian is one of the best in the area! The service there is average.

This place is simply awesome. We got the garlic cheese bread for an appetizer, and(tip for you) asked for a side of marinara sauce to go with it. Delicious! We also had an Italian sausage pizza, which was definitely better than average. I know that sounds like faint praise, but it’s actually quite good. With so many pizza places around, it’s hard to stand out. And this place really does. Also, the server(Jordan) was super friendly and casual. We will definitely be back.

I’ve eaten there dine in and carry out several times. Pizza is good St. Louis style, with a good crispy crust(like stephanina’s but more crispy”. Topping amount is ok, less than stephs but acceptable. Italian food when dining in was very good. Had chicken Parm and pasta and all was tasty with ample portions.

We went to Francescos the other night after not having been there in several years. We used to work nearby and remembered we had liked their pizza so decided to go. Well, I don’t think they have cleaned the carpet, replaced a table covering or put a coat of paint on the walls and trim in YEARS. Dark, sad, and worn looking. The food was just OK. Not bad but nothing to rave about.

Francesco’s is a great local owned little hole in the wall type place I adore. My only complaint is just how small it really is and they are only open for dinner. We first discovered it because we heard they offered a gluten free pizza crust made by Andrea’s. I have to tell you I have never gotten Andrea’s pizza crust or pre-made pizza to taste this good at home. Their pizza is DELICIOUS! Yes, you have to like St. Louis style pizza. Sorry for those of you who don’t, but you do live in ST. LOUIS!!! They have a great GF menu that includes pizza, pasta, and beer all of which I enjoy. My husband does not need GF but also enjoys the pizza GF or regular. The regular menu includes pizza, pasta, chicken and steak dishes, some appetizers, and salads. We live about 25 minutes from the place, so it’s a haul for pizza/pasta, but well worth it.

Francesco pizza… I like going to local places and trying new pizza joints… but I don’t think you’ve really satiated my pizza needs. This is one for the Saint Louisans that LOVE IMOs. I really like your cheesey garlic bread, so +1 for that. Then again, I almost never hate cheesey garlic bread so we’re back at zero. Honestly, I don’t get why people in Saint Louis love their creamy cheese pizzas. It’s just WEIRD. It wasn’t bad, but it’s just not my thing. It’s definitely better than Imos, but I’m not sure it makes it on my list of must go to pizza places in Saint Louis. The creamy cheese blend is something I will never understand. While I’m not sure if it was Provel or some other blend, I will also never understand Saint Louis folk’s obsession with provel. I’m tempted to purchase a t-shirt from Pi Pizzeria that says NO to provel! SERIOUSLY! The crust, on the other hand, was pretty good. Thin and crunchy without being well done. I have to admit that some of the middle pieces were a little soggy though. Service was good. Everyone was super friendly, so that was nice. Overall, the pizza was fine, just not great. It is a bit of a far drive from me so I don’t think I’ll be headed that way just for the pizza. But, if you really dig IMOs style pizza I have a feeling you’ll love this place.

This was the single worst pizza I have eaten in 54 years… provel cheese is a «love it or hate it» thing, I guess, and I am not a fan, but after waiting 30 minutes from time we ordered, both my son(16) and I were starving, and we only ate ¼ of it, didn’t even take the leftovers home. Service was slow to indifferent. «Non’smoking» section is next to smoking section with no separation. Facility was dingy at best. Wouldn’t eat there again unless it was at gunpoint.

The best Italian in St peters! Their pizza is fantastic and the other menu items are really outstanding. I’ve never had a bad bite of food there. The few downsides are the restaurant is small and if it gets crowded, service can be very slow. It’s also a very dark and dingy place. It could use a remodel. Also, on more than one occasion, I’ve ordered something that the didn’t have that night or had run out of. It’s not good when you order a steak dish, only to be told they will have to use another, lesser quality cut. Still very good, but they need to plan better. I would still highly recommend it! We go often with a family of 6.

Francesco’s is a fantastic little hole in the wall type place. We first discovered it because we heard they offered a gluten free menu. They do have a good gf menu that includes pizza and pasta both of which my husband really enjoys. The regular menu includes pizza, pasta, chicken and steak dishes, a good number of appetizers, and salads with dressings they make themselves. The pizza is thin crust and it’s fantastic. I enjoy it more than Imo’s and would liken it more to Stefanina’s. Lots of toppings, lots of cheese and a great thin crust. I really enjoy the chicken parm since the breading is light and not overwhelming. I tend not to order just pasta as they do not make their pasta as al dente as I would but that’s truly my only compliant. The restaurant is small and if you show up between 6:30 and 7:00 on Friday or Saturday, you’ll wait. Kara is one of the two or three waitresses and she’s wonderfully friendly and recognizes most who walk in if they’ve been there more than once. The place could use a new coat of paint or some better lighting fixtures but it sort of all just adds to the feeling that you’ve found this hidden gem.

Their pizza is decent and I have only had it like three or four times but isn’t as good as imo’s IMO. This place serves beer i believe but once again I’ve only had take out.
