In light of yesterday’s review on Colorado’s «Mile High Farms», I have some nostalgia to share… I love Love LOVE Daniel’s Farm & Greenhouses located in central St. Peters off Jungermann! The thought of this place reminds me of home! When my Facebook friends post pictures of taking their kids there — I cringe because I’m almost 30 ;) and then I get super jealous! I’d like to premise with a chuckle to the 3-star rating that was posted 11 days ago. In comparison, Mile High Farms charges $ 10 for children AND $ 12 for adults. Yet, Daniel’s charges $ 6 for children and $ 3 for adults. Two adults and one child have the opportunity to enjoy nearly all of Daniel’s for the price of one adult in Colorado. And personally, Daniel’s is better. Additional, and sorry to disagree again with the other Unilocaler, the fact that they still sell plants during October is what I love most! I can take my niece there AND shop in between her adventures. They sell an array of colorful Native-American-looking Corn Stalks and Autumn Mums! To each their own I guess… but it IS an operating business that puts the majority of their efforts into October Harvest at a cheap price. Please never stop selling plants during this time, Daniel’s! As posted on their website, below is a list of inclusions to their low-fare admission(and seems like one heck of a deal to me!): — Giant Straw Maze ***my favorite!*** — Petting Zoo — Unique Fort Maze — Tube Slides — Pony Swings — Giant Tire Swings — Corn Boxes — Picnic Area — Antique Farm Equipment — And more! I hope«And more!» summarizes the Tin Barrel Rides pulled behind Tractors(cutely decorated as farm animals), Apple Cider making on the big Red Barn, and unique photo-ops with their Character Faceholes though — because those were my favs as a kid! I hold dearly sooo many memories going to Daniel’s as a child. I can remember when it was Koenig’s on the Hill! The number of Christmas Trees we’ve bought from there growing up brings a soft spot to my heart! They landscaped our childhood backyard, as well as, a second home frontyard during high school! I’ve also went there to take pictures for a wedding … ironically during October! Well, now that I’ve wrote a book… I really want to go! Maybe in 2015 I’ll make sure I’m back in Missouri for a stop to Daniel’s October Harvest!

Fun events for the kids. Price is a little high because they charge adults. Seems odd because they want to also sell their plants and pumpkins.
