Everything here comes incorrectly prepared and with a side of sass. I wonder if this place employs felons with no idea of how to treat a customer. When I came in, I ordered a fully loaded steak boss wrap. The cashier said that she didn’t have steak. So then I ordered a different item and then I was asked if I would like steak? Then I told them that they just told me a second a go that they didn’t have it. My order was all messed up at the end and I had to have the re-make the order. The manager apologized and brought out my order. This is the second time I have come here with some sort of expectation of an accurate order, only to realize that I should have went to a different store.

This is probably the closest Taco Bell for East Bank U of M students. There is one on Minnehaha Ave, that might be closer, but it’s in a rather sketchy neighborhood. This Taco Bell on Snelling, isn’t that much better, but I feel much safer there than down near Minnehaha Ave. If you want to go to a Taco Bell in a nicer area, go to the one in the quarry! It’s a extra few minute drive, but worth it! Taco Bell! One of the very few decent fast food options in the Twin Cities. You can’t go wrong with Taco Bell. I always go for the value menu! I just get crispy tacos, which are decent and the rice and bean burrito for a dollar. I’ve been to this location 3 times, I haven’t really had many problems with them. One thing to note is that after 11PM or so, they stop having dine-in options. Their drive thru option is weird. there isn’t really any noted lanes. The service here is rather slow as well. They need to have 2 lanes for orders just like they do in many new McDonalds, this would speed things up for us consumers. There should be plenty of room to add that 2 lane option. 2 Stars: Semi-convenient location. Slow service at times. Decent food.

If you had told me that I’d be giving a Taco Bell 5-stars, I’d say, «you’re crazy». Well, you’re not. Here it is. And seriously, this Taco Bell is freakin’ great. I mean, yes, it still tastes(and later feels…) like Taco Bell, but that’s not what I’m focusing on here… what is 5-star worthy is their amazing quality customer service and care. Again, a Taco Bell. I was literally kind of taken aback/not sure how to react by it at first, sort of a «wait…you’re greeting me with what seems to be a genuine smile? You don’t seem bored or disgruntled and there’s life and vibrancy behind those eyes? And… another employee just gave me a heads up about the floor being wet? Wait what??» Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a more pleasant experience at ANY fast food restaurant, let alone many non-fast food restaurants. Even the other customers seemed genuinely happy. Maybe because it’s Friday? Maybe it’s the sunny weather? Maybe… it’s the Taco Bell? All I know is that when we left and said, «thank you», everyone behind the counter responded back with a, «thanks for coming!» …WTF?!?

I have to comment on this fast food joint, as it is unparalleled when it comes to customer service! There’s something so refreshing when employees seem to genuinely care that they get your order right, provide you with prompt and courteous service and make your experience in their establishment a positive one. Something is being done right in that restaurant, no doubt about it!

A very busy and friendly Taco-Bell –I have only been to the drive-thru here typically late at night when all the other peeps are done at the bar and need their taco bell fix. If you are in the hood late at night and need food fast on a tight budget… and excellent choice…

I don’t care that its a chain or fast food… if the service is good… I call it out. Yeah, the food is not top of the line, but I don’t expect it to be. For the few times that I do stop, the service is always nothing but great. Especially in the drive thru. The people taking orders are as polite and friendly as can be. Getting in is a pain if you are heading north on Snelling, but it is what it is… Sometimes a «run for the border» is just necessary and they are open late. That cheesy gordita crunch thingy is not bad.

Ah. Taco Bell the 4th meal hangout. what options do I have at 2 – 3 in the morning. But you messed up the Chalupa. Its bean and not beef that is requested sometimes.

This place used to be a cool local place called Zandito’s. It was like Taco Bell is today, only way way better. Tacos, chiletos(chili cheese burritos), and all the good things made well and not slopped together with chalking guns full of condiments. Well that is all in the past. What you have today is a Taco Bell where you can get toxic waste to wedge into your gnashing maw at odd hours of the day or night.
