So… a few months ago, our kitten peed on my brand new down comforter.
…cat pee.
Stoltz, way to save the day — I got my comforter back a couple days later super clean and cat pee odor free. To this day, I’ve smelled NOTHING, and cat pee = the most evil of evil smells and tends to linger until the end of time.
Once it’s nice out and it’s time for me to get my winter coat cleaned, you better believe I’ll be back! You’re super reasonably priced and your staff was very friendly and helpful. Way to win yet again, St. Paul.

You don’t get better than Stoltz. I’d give them 6⁄5 stars if I could. This dry cleaner is family owned, and I always get awesome customer service whenever I stop in. The owner is a jovial, kind, Santa-​claus type of father figure who is really sweet. :) The younger kids who run the front desk have phenomenal customer service, and are always amenable, quick, and efficient.
I asked them to tea-​stain a white coat for me (for TV purposes), and while they didn’t traditional do this, were able to get it done (called the wife, asked if she could do it, and voila! done the next day!).
I’ve had them press my wedding dress, and they gave me a free garment bag to protect it. (Along with a lollipop for my big day). The owner even carried out my dress to the car!
Great family owned service. Always happy with these guys. Two thumbs up, and now I’m a loyal customer.

This is our dry cleaner of choice, we’ve used them for decades, and monthly at the very least. Great same day service. My husband is always getting wax on his religious vestments, and they take care of that just fine. They take direction well and are good with delicates. The owner is super nice. They’ll always carry your stuff in or out of the car if you can’t. And the parking is pretty funny. Plenty of ways to drive in and out of the place.

We have used Stolz for years (the last 12) and have found that, as long as we tell them where the stains are or any other special needs we have (like body odor in the left armpit, whatever), they do a fine job. They have also cut us a break when we have large quantities of dry cleaning (once). We (my partner and I) think that they do a fine job.

Really, I’m the first to review this? OK, well Stoltz is the dry cleaner place across the street from the orig Dunn Bros on the corner of Snelling and Grand. There is certainly no shortage of dry cleaners in this part of St. Paul, but I’ve gone to this one more than the others in the area. Mostly, it’s about the most convenient cleaner to crash-​land your car after putting up with the road rage borne of Grand ave lala-​land drivers; their parking lot is large and no rules apply for how to park your car there.
What’s up with the staff and their cell phones though? I’ve only been a few times and I think each time I dropped off and picked up, someone has called or texted the attendant I’m dealing with. Hmmm…
Pretty standard prices, but look out for coupons in local St. Paul publications and bring ‘em in.
