Underwhelming. I keep trying this place every year or so and am never pleasantly surprised. Last night’s meals were lukewarm, my ribs were slathered with some sort of bland orangish sauce, I kept finding shards of bone throughout the dish, the waiter charged us for two beers when I only had one(apology, perhaps?), the patio furniture was unclean and the prices are too high by about 10−20%.

Went for lunch on the recommendation of a colleague. The menu was really underwhelming, and I had fish and chips. Both fish and fries were under seasoned and barely crispy. The service was incredibly slow which was strange as it wasn’t that busy. The patio was lovely aesthetically, but I wouldn’t choose this place again.

went for the traditional celebration. USED to be the best. the salad was sparse of beets. there were three tiny pieces of seafood in the appetizer. where is the waiter? the place was almost empty midweek cold nite. unfortunately this will be may last visit! did like the flat bread basket and waiter was polite when he appreared. the burger was cooked perfect but for thirteen dollars i get better elsewhere.

Been here many times, the food is always good, service great and the atmosphere is unique. Great location and the facility is actually larger than just the front seating area, there is a larger room in the back for big groups.

Went with the hubby for Valentine’s day dinner. The place is very comfy, cozy, love the ambience. Staff was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. Loved everything we had except for the dessert, hence the 4 stars. Will be definitely going back for more yummy food.

Made reservations here due to receiving a gift card for Christmas. We decided to have dinner before seeing a show, so we were there exceptionally early(I’m talking geriatric time). The place wasn’t very busy and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was extremely nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with beer and wine for drinks and the cheese plate for an appetizer. We aren’t necessarily ‘cheese plate’ people, but it was delicious and fun to try something new. For dinner I got the duck, which was cooked perfectly. My date got the Muffuletta sandwich, which he said was very good but salty. We would definitely come back. Pro: My date is OBSESSED with popcorn. As soon as we sat down our waitress brought us a bowl of popcorn cooked in duck fat. It was incredible and won him over immediately.

Last night had an outstanding dinner at Muffuletta, the star of which was the Walleye Chowder — deeply aromatic and delicious, teeming with fish and vegetables, redolent of bacon, and given a Minnesota twist with the addition of wild rice. Service was friendly and efficient as always. This place is always satisfying — and I love the garlicky dip served with the bread.

Love love LOVE Muffulettas! They are not only a lovely local business but they proceed to give back to the community by buying their ingredients from local farmers! Already 5 stars in my book. The flatbread with peaches, figs and ricotta is amazing, as is the heirloom tomato salad and the corn and cabbage special. So delicious, I definitely recommend!

I love this place. It’s my go to when I don’t want to take a chance on something new. Although the menu does change, it’s always consistently good. I’m a big fan of the gluten-free flatbread or whatever. You can have it come out prior to the meal and om nom nom nom so good. They also have GF buns for the burgers and sandwiches!

We ate here last night at 5:00. The servers were nice, and food was excellent; we tried some of their new summer offerings including the pineapple chicken and the peach cobbler, which were awesome! And the fries were perfect in the steak-frites. But, as has happened at several restaurants in the Twin Cities in the past two years, they marked our OpenTable reservation as «cancelled» instead of that we got there, so therefore we don’t get our dining points and we can’t write a review for them on OpenTable. Hopefully this is an easily-fixed training issue…

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s one of my favorite spots. Service is already great, food delicious, love the atmosphere — inside and outside. You can’t go wrong with anything you order — both the specials and the regular menu items are all delicious. I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. I’ve only had brunch here once but it was very good. I did my 30th birthday party here a few years ago and rented out the party room. They were a dream to work with — I picked some apps for everyone to share, and then put together a menu with 3 meal options for my guests to choose from. I had about 30 people. I wanted cupcakes for dessert and they let me have them brought in and served them for no additional charge. It was a special evening and everything was perfect. I recommend this place to people all the time.

Muffuletta, boo, can we hangout more often? Because my decision last Saturday to take a group of friends there served as one of the best decisions I made that weekend. Why? I. FOOD *Bread w/Garlic Spread: Hmm, that garlic spread(with hummus?) made my tongue dance a bit, and I wanted to shovel all of it in my mouth. That would’ve been hella rude, though. ;) Nonetheless, don’t sleep on this dip! The pieces of bread were nice, too. *Eggs Benedict: Yes-sir! With a perfectly poached egg, delectable ham, and a not-to-overpowering hollandaise sauce, I definitely enjoyed it. Not to mention, the side of salad — with a light sweet dressing — worked as the perfect compliment. II. SERVICE On point! Our server definitely liked his job, didn’t roll his eyes, and checked up on us regularly without being pushy. III. ATMOSPHEREANDDÉCOR So, that’s why this place is a neighborhood gem… Super quaint inside, with amazing patios in both front and back. I definitely like the front patio too, since the patio wall’s bench/seat leans back a little bit. Nice touch, Muffuletta! IV. PRICES They fit the neighborhood, and I have no problem paying for awesome food and service. V. OVERALL This might be my new favorite brunch joint. I’ll be back soon!

Very cozy atmosphere with a great patio. The three cheese board was delicious. The Asian burger and Mac and cheese was very good. My boys loved the snacks of popcorn and bread baskets. Lastly, the desserts were divine — blackberry cobbler and chocolate cake. Service was excellent, but the food doesn’t move fast… It is nice to just sit and enjoy the company with you!

Tomato bisque and prosciutto hazelnut salad for a quick lunch turned out to be a delicious treat with my coworkers. Sure thing will go back to try their burgers.

Divine brunch. The food quality was excellent and the portions large. Turned the Croque Monsieur into a Madame with some eggs and couldn’t get through half of it– rich, meaty, and generous. The tea selection wasn’t very interesting, but a classic breakfast tea was fine. Great cozy place for warming up in the winter.

I live in the neighborhood, and my kids go to school nearby, so I have been meaning to check out this cute cozy-looking St. Anthony Park joint for YEARS. Finally I got a chance to have a wonderful brunch here with an old friend after a massive Saturday morning workout. We ordered a TON of food, and it was all good — a yummy cheese plate, soup, steak and eggs, a muffuletta sandwich. I’ve never had one before, and I see why they’re so popular. Also, I need to take the garlic spread from the bread home and have it analyzed so I can recreate it. I’m Italian and my husband jokes that my garlic devotion is obscene, but for real, the garlic spread is to die for. There’s a beautiful patio all strung with lights — gorgeous for a spring/summer/fall day! I’m looking forward to coming back to Muffuletta again for a date night some evening!

Impromptu mid-week lunch on a beautiful weather day(today) lead to dining alfresco here. Service is very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. Our water glasses never emptied. Enjoyed a small sampling basket of bread/crackers along with dollops of butter and their roasted garlic/butter/herb/lemon juice spread. Very tasty overall. Soup of the day was a pureed gazpacho, which I thought was pleasantly mild-flavored and rather nice. Their special orza pasta salad was lovely with long, thin strips of marinated cucumber adorning it, along with Kalamata olives, red and yellow grape tomatoes and small cubes of salami. It was the right-sized salad for me for lunch.

I’ve had brunch here a number of times while visiting people up in the cities, and have yet to order anything I haven’t liked. Wait staff was friendly, and very helpful in working with my dietary issues. Prices are reasonable, though not inexpensive, and everything was prepared and plated very well. It’s a small space, but feels nicely cozy instead of cramped.

At my lunch meeting here, the person facilitating said that Muffuletta’s is where her husband purposed to her… thirty years prior. Which led us all to sit back in amazement that this place has been serving delicious food for longer than most of us had been alive. We met for lunch this time, but everything on their menu is delicious. I highly recommend their $ 12.95 lunch special! Soup or salad, a small entrée and the dessert of the day. On a student budget, it is the best of all worlds! When someone else is paying, it is even better! The soup of the day was a tomato basil bisque. It was light and slightly creamy, with a couple of croutons on top. So great for a slightly chilly day. I had the linguini as the entrée. It was slightly salty because of all the capers, but overall good. And the dessert of the day was a lemon pound cake with ice cream on top and raspberry drizzle. There was very little raspberry drizzle, but the cake made up for it! Delicious! I will be back. Most likely during their fantastic happy hour!

I admit we were trying to get into colossal café down the block, however, I’m glad they were full because it made us venture over to Muffuletta. The first thing you will notice is their beautiful street-side(but elevated) patio complete with umbrellas and plants/flowers. This is the perfect patio for breakfast on a sunny summer morning. We were greeted and seated on the patio and felt right at home. Their breakfast menu is somewhat limited though there is an option for everyone. We opted to start with mimosas and they were awesome. Most restaurants give you an orange juice when you order one of these so it was refreshing to be able to taste the champagne. I ordered the french toast with cream cheese and almonds and the lady ordered a spinach, cheese and fresh tomato omelet with side salad. We split these plates and we each enjoyed both. Ingredients were noticeably fresh and great care was taken for presentation. The portions were slightly below average on the omelet plate but the french toast would satisfy most. I highly recommend the patio seating for breakfast, you will not be disappointed with the food, ambience or service. Overall quite an enjoyable experience!
