My favorite bookstore. Intelligent selection of general fiction and non-​fiction, along with books of local interest. Great source for books to be special ordered, which my family relies upon. Well-​ready, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

This privately owned little store in the heart of historic downtown White Bear Lake is indeed a treasure! Its charm just has to be experienced in person! If they don’t have what you want, they will order it for you. To heck with the big chains and amazon!

Right on the corner of 4th and Washington is Lake Country Booksellers. They have been on the corner since the 80’s. (Is that dating me?) I have been going to visit Lake Country since I was a kid and the one thing that never changes is the quality of service that you get.
The lovely people that work there have ordered me books many times. The books always arrive quickly and they give you a courtesy call to let you know that they have arrived.
I have attended author events at Lake Country Bookseller as well. I’ve had several memorable moments with favorite authors and always look forward to the next event.
