Top 3 best EGGROLLS!!! Now that I got that out of the way. This place is pretty hidden. Inside is nice and quiet. Nice décor and setting. Offers both table seating or booths. Greeted and seated by the hostess/waitress instantly. Quick with the water. Ordered Vietnamese eggroll, house fried rice, and honey shrimp. Now, you might think that’s such a generic order. But I heard about their eggrolls, my visit was mainly for that. Lol… but back to visit. My eggrolls took about 5 minutes. And yes, to me it is easily top 3 eggrolls I had. The wrap was very different. I’m guessing they use a rice spring roll wrap instead, but it works!!! Their filling is just perfect. They don’t skip out on the meat. The cabbage is not over powering, a lot of places have that over powering cabbage. This place has a great ratio of noodles, cabbage, and meat. And make you order the Vietnamese Egg Roll and not the Chinese eggroll, yes there is a difference. 3 minutes later my fired rice and honey shrimp came. The honey shrimp had a nice crispy texture and the sauce is not too sweet. The fried rice old use a little touch up. There was no flavor, pretty bland. But not the worse I’ve had. The waitress was good. She’s very friendly. Mid way through my meal a pretentious man and a woman walked in. The guy was a total dick, but the waitress kept her nice composure. Guy comes in and demands a seat near an outlet for his phone! And going as far as reaching across booths next to mine and behind mine. Even going as far as making a pick complaint, «Fine, I guess I’ll just sit anywhere and make due without my phone.» And still this nice waitress apologizes. I made sure to tip and left a note on the bill. I’ll come back for those eggrolls, and I see they have phở too…

I’m from out of town(Long Island) and tried this Chinese food tonight. highly recommended! And us New Yorkers are pretty picky about our Chinese food. my coworker ordered the general tso’s chicken and he was very impressed. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it fulfilled my craving. great portions as well as prices! the crunchy noodles are home made as well and therefor delicious. friendly staff and quick service.

Super bummer. I’m not a difficult customer to please but this food was terrible. I placed an order to go was quoted ten minutes and it was ready in five(I live a couple blocks away). That should have prompted me to check my food but how awkward would that have been… I get home and open up my sesame chicken and bam a soggy microwaved mess. I called the restaurant and the woman was super rude — unfortunate because I was quite understanding(not really) but I was polite and friendly. Any place that is willing to send to go orders as microwaved soggy slop seems like one to avoid. Too bad…

Very good for a strip mall restaurant. Fish with black bean sauce, off the lunch menu, was made with great ingredients. The seasoning was a bit subtle but everything was well made.

I love Great China. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager(10+ years), though only or takeout. Definitely recommend the fried rice. Don’t know what they put in there, but it’s better than any fried rice I’ve had in SF’s Chinatown. I imagine the ambiance for dining-in leaves something to be desired, but this really isn’t the type of place at which you dine in. Highly recommended for takeout.

Great China is a great disapointment! Twice I have eaten here for lunch and both times it have been gross. The wings I got with the lunch were rancid, smelled so bad I could not eat them, the sesame chicken is breaded connective tissue. Next time was the Pad Thia chicken, nasty, hit a 10 on the gag meter. They used fettucini for rice noodles, the chicken was mush, no texture at all, can’ t describe the smell and flavor is was so bad. I took 2 bites and left behind a plate full of food, lost my appetite and could not get the nasty taste out of my mind! Go to Big Bowl at the mall or Byerlys.

I do not typically go in and sit down here, it’s my probably my favorite place to go for Chinese take-out though. They have super reasonable prices, especially once you see the quality of ingredients put into the items. I’ve never experienced anything super grease here, unlike many other Chinese take-out places. This is a big plus, because if there is one thing I hate about take-out, it’s the overly abundant amounts of grease. The service is always fast and super friendly — this place has the best service I’ve had from any Chinese restaurant. They are actually friendly rather than short-tempered border-lining on annoyed with you! Definitely check this place out — they have great fried rice, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls and sesame chicken. .. oh and beef with broccoli!

This used to be the place my friend and I would meet to catch up over the pu pu apetizer platter, some fried rice and a chicken dish. Garlic chicken is very good. Their fried rice I’m not the biggest fan of. I guess I like my rice a little greasier and more fried looking. This is yellow«fried» rice with chunks of carrots, peas etc. Chicken wings and egg rolls are excellent! Nice little restaurant with very nice owners.

Very good simple American Chinese restaurant. Two things that do it for me, the sweet and sour sauce, and the lo-mien, these are staples to me for at an Americanized Chinese restaurant, and this place does both excellently. Also, all the other dishes we’ve tried are delicious, and cheap.
