Chungs Chow Mein

Seriously delicious! Family owned and run by mother and father and they put out some great eats! Their lunch specials (Mon-​Fri), they offer three different choices are reasonable and quick. Small dining room, but also great for pickup. Love their Eggrolls, Chicken Wings, and Cream Cheese Wontons for apps. Check out this hidden gem.

Good food, great priced, quick service.

I would normally give this place at least 4 stars, but a couple thing have bothered me lately.
First of all, I get it — you don’t take anything but cash — but that is annoying and not the world we live in.
Secondly, you are a chinese place and you are closed on the weekends!!! Do you know how much business you are missing out on from Saturday night take out and a movie or people desperately in need of greasy chinese food to ease their hangover?! You are missing out on two huge groups of wknd customers. Your loss Chung, you loss.
Food wise, portions are usually decent, but sometimes it is hit or miss. Vietnamese chow mein is great. Egg rolls are DELISH! Egg foo yung is pretty good too.
I would rate the food a 4 and the overall business strategy a 2.

Consistently great take out food from this North End establishment. The Chow Mein & the Kung Pao Chicken are two of our favorites. The egg rolls also rock. Located in a little strip mall so don’t miss this little gem.
