I ordered a Caramel High Rise and it tasted like hot water with a splash of caramel. I had already left the store so I wasn’t able to get them to fix it. This store is rarely consistent with their coffee and if I’m spending $ 5 for a coffee I want it to be flavorful. The servers are friendly though.

My mom and I went to this Caribou a couple days back. We are from California and are new to MN. So when ordering coffee, it’s hard to get used to saying Large instead of Venti! As I proceed to order I accidentally say«Venti» and I was rudely interrupted by the barista with blue hair saying«SMALL, MEDIUM, ORLARGE?!» I got taken back a moment because of how rude she was. Then my mom ordered hers and asked if it came with a chocolate covered bean. The barista snapped and said«NO», didn’t even offer one, just stopped right there as if she was pissed because I had previously said the wrong size. If I was her employer, she would not be working for me. Great Customer Service is what I love most about Caribou, and this visit I was disappointed. All in all, the coffee is always amazing at Caribou, better than Starbucks has ever been. Our coffees were good, just wish we had the customer service to go along with it. If you want good customer service travel a couple miles down the road to another Caribou in White Bear for the full Caribou experience.

Here it is commonplace to see meet-ups of all varieties, whether it be a group meeting about a school project or a meeting between business executives. Love this place and their staff.

Yay Caribou! Yeah, it’s a big chain in the midwest, but compared to Starbucks it might as well be a mom & pop store. My friends and I practically grew up at this location, and the fact that it’s connected to Breugger’s Bagels next door makes it a perfect stop for a quick breakfast.
