This was my first time and was bit nervous but Wendy was great and very supporting. I definitely recommend this place. Wendy is great.

Super clean environment. I saw Wendy for two services on two different days. Lash tint and a wax. She is a really neat lady. SO knowledgeable and passionate about her field. Talkative and friendly but by no means annoying — very pleasant and a lovely person. I was so happy with both services. She made me feel at ease and confident. I will be back for sure. It is hard to find people that you can trust in this industry and I really trust her. Thanks Wendy.

My service at Wax the City was with wax-​pro Amy Braun and I have to say the experience was so much better than I anticipated my first full body wax to be. The rooms are warm and comfortable and Amy was fun to talk to, lighthearted and friendly. Halfway through, I nearly napped awhile it was all so relaxing! Who knew? No painful, terrible, embarrassing feeling anywhere in this process. Thank you so much Amy for the amazing wax! My week at the beach was so much better not having to worry about shaving every other day!!! I will be back for sure!

Not my first experience with waxing but definitely my best. I had a Brazilian wax. I was able to book online, the facility was very clean and comfortable and Becky, who was my aesthetician, did an amazing job. I was comfortable the entire time. She was precise and the waxing was nearly painless. I highly recommend this location and Becky in particular.

If you’re used to having your eyebrows waxed at a nail salon, you’re in for a real treat at Waxing the City. A clean, professional aesthetic to the building is only complimented by the wonderful wax and technique the esthetician used. Unlike discount waxing salons that use a soft, liquidy wax, Waxing the City uses Hard Wax, which means they can do smaller sections without having to rip and tug at your skin as hard. The result: A slightly longer sitting experience, with none of the pain. I’ll take it any day. I believe my esthetician was Bridget, and she did a fantastic job keeping my eyebrow shape and communicating with me about the areas she was waxing.
They offer the whole gamut: Bikini waxing, abdomen waxing, leg waxing, underarm waxing, mens waxing, eye brow waxing, chin waxing. So many more. They also do eyelash tinting and eyebrow tinting, which is awesome if you dye your hair.
4 Stars because it is a little pricey: But you get what you pay for. First time waxers get 50% off the first wax, and they have a loyalty program too.

I had such a great experience here! Setting the appointment was easy, and got a simple confirmation via email. I saw Liz, and she was personable and did a fantastic job. It was the most thorough, least painless wax I have ever had. Reception was friendly and I didn’t feel pressured to buy any products or extra services. Great place!

They do a great job! Professional and clean environment. Waiting room smells like flowers, very relaxing and classy. No tips allowed so nice to know cost upfront. Free parking outside.

I’ve tried countless waxing places around Minneapolis and in NYC, and this place is far and away the best. Clean, spacious, efficient, friendly, and meticulous. The no tipping policy is refreshing as well. I’ve seen 3 different specialists just due to my own scheduling needs and all were terrific but I especially liked Wendy and Liz. I won’t be going anywhere else!

These guys are super friendly, they take walk ins, and don’t allow tipping! Besides, they’re prices are reasonable and they do a nice job. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new waxing spot.

Completely obsessed with this place. This is the only spot I will go to for a Brazilian wax. always completely painless and they look great. Love the staff as well!
