Flamingo Gourmet Popsicles

I have to say, I’m a fan.
I’ve had three different popsicles from Flamingo, all at the Maitland Food Truck Friday conveniently located walking distance from my office.
Key lime. Chocolate with hot pepper. Strawberry Mojito.
All were awesome. Look for their tent next to the RDV building on Fridays in Maitland.

Flamingo Pops’ popsicle cart was open for business at the RDV complex this past Friday (May 24) during the Food Truck Fridays event. I’d never seen or heard of this cart before, but took a chance on it and took home a few popsicles. I couldn’t pass up getting two, since buying only one would’ve cost $ 3.50, whereas the cart had a two-​for-​$ 6 special.
I got one strawberry mojito pop and one Key Lime Pie pop. Both of them were delicious! I was very impressed. A few other enticing flavors (lemon drop, banana & strawberry, piña colada, cilantro & pineapple) also were available on Friday. Would’ve liked to try one of each, but wasn’t prepared to spend so much money on popsicles.
The popsicles were more creamy rather than icy and were a welcome treat on such a hot afternoon.
