Checkers Drive In Restaurant

Heard mumbling over the intercom when I pulled up. I responded «excuse me?» and was told in a crisp clear voice «We not open yet.» It was 9:59am, they open at 10:00am…

Literally the worst checkers ever. Also the worst fast food restaurant in the area. Literally EVERY time I go here they are either out of what I want or mess my order up. Drive the extra 2 miles and go to the 10 & Gratiot location. I went today for just 2 milkshakes. They were out of milkshakes. Not out of the flavor I wanted but out of all milkshakes. A previous time I ordered a cherry coke only to be told they don’t sell cherry coke. Kind of odd that I’m looking at the logo on your menu. So I ordered a shake instead. Guess what, they were out of those too. What a poor excuse for a restaurant. The best thing that could happen to this place is if it burned to the ground.

There is a large debate going on within me on this place. I love to go to the local bars on my bike during the summer, and nothing is better than a big greasy burger at 2 AM with some loaded fries.
But every time I try to go there, the people inside are complete dicks. I’m treated like I’m a burden. You have to knock at the window until someone may or may not come. When they do come, it’s more of a «What do you want?» than a greeting.
As much as I like their overpriced food, this place sucks. Your customer service is bad and your owner should feel bad.
So in the case, the negatives hugely outweigh the positives. I wish nothing but terrible luck to your business Checkers and may god have mercy on your souls.
