First rate company! This is the first time, after many moves using many different companies, that I have actually had a positive experience with the movers.
Russell, in the St Louis office, was always helpful and courteous. Moreover, he went out of his way to problem solve far more than anyone else I’ve dealt with in the past. When the movers could not get a large bookcase up the stairwell to my second floor apartment, he personally came to the rescue, with two assistants, to figure out a way to successfully get the piece up the rear staircase and into the appeasement!
The New Jersey office, which handled the pick up stage of my move, from Far Rockaway, handled the survey and pricing in a professional manner. When the coordinator became unavailable due to a medical emergency, her office seamlessly picked up the slack, and handle my inquiries in a professional and polite manner. No long distance move happens without problems, and this one was no exception, as the movers did break a window, and arrived one day after the due date (hurricane Sandy hit that week). However, this company worked with me throughout, and managed to resolve any and all problems which inevitably arose.
I would, without reservation, recommend to anyone to use this company. They are not the cheapest (at least the quoted price), but you definitely get your money’s worth in professional service, and piece of mind. I’ve been suckered by low-​ball quotes in the past, only to be extorted for more money in the middle of the move. This time, my actual price came in several hundred dollars LESS than the survey estimate, as my actual weight was less than the survey estimate.
