Not sure how the food is here, because I didn’t try it, but I really enjoyed myself here. My date and I came here after dinner this past Saturday night between activities and the atmosphere and beer selection made for a really nice time. They had some great live music and a cool demographic of humans that made this place a really cozy spot to have a beer and chill. I’d recommend this for someone looking for some chill nightlife out on the town.

Swung in on a Saturday night to grab a few beers after dinner. We heard the live music, and decided to try it out. We didn’t order any food, but they had a decent beer list and the music was great! It was nice to be able to hang out for a bit and listen to the artists do their thing, while sipping on some beer. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good! We grabbed a table, and despite the bar being very busy, the bartender was very attentive to us. At this place, what you see is what you get. Good vibes, good music, and good beer!

The Reuben is fantastic and the beer selection excellent. Good variety menu. The music is the best in town if you like the styles. They do blues, and salsa, and I also heard a great Gypsy Duo there. If you like any of those, this IS the place to be. People can’t help but get up to dance.

Very good food! Had to wait a little bit due to a small kitchen and a big party before us but the rueben was awesome! And they gave us complementary wine and beer due to the wait!

If I could rate this place no stars I would. I nicely walked in, was going to sit to order a drink until the door guy(that was getting drunk off a glass of wine at the door) followed us and told me that the bathroom is only for customers… THEBARISLOCATEDINTHEBACKWHERE I GUESSTHERESTROOMSARE. I told him I’ll find another bar to have a drink at. Could of enjoyed some nice drinks here but the old drunk man is a total jerk. Lol pass!

Cozy little wine/food bar with live music. A good place to enjoy wine and listen to music. Had the ahi tuna salad & Reuben sandwich which were simple but delicious. Diverse food menu to choose from. Noticed most people there were having drinks and listening to the live music. Good customer service-the waitress was very friendly and attentive.

We stumble here by chance but it was a great spot to listen to live music and grab a beer at the bar.

We were in town for a couple of nights from the Orlando area and wanted to find some karaōke, so I went online and found out this place had karaōke as well as food, so we decided to give it a shot. My husband and I both ordered the mahi mahi sandwich plate(minus the bread). The fish was topped with a fresh mango cucumber salsa and served with a small side of rice and black beans. Everything tasted very fresh and full of flavor. My husband had some of their beer on tap while I had three glasses of their moscato. There weren’t a whole lot of singers, so we got up to sing a lot, which was quite nice. The KJ was Sadie, and boy can she sing! She did Led Zeppelin, Heart, and some show tunes. We had a friendly, attentive waiter, and even the owner came out to check on us and see how we liked our meal. The only shocker was when the check came-it was $ 10 per glass for my wine! But that was my fault; I should have asked what the price was in advance. All in all, we had a great time, and we will go back the next time we get over there. I just won’t order the wine!

The Ruben & the Cheeseburger were excellent… Staff is the best. The owner(from Cuba) plays piano-the night we were fortunate to eat there-was Blues & Oldies! Love this place! If I ever pass this way again this place will be first on my list!

Wandered in by accident lured in by karaōke. The server was so friendly and nice. The karaōke was super-fun, the host did a great job keeping the audience singing and engaged. It was nice that they had food as well as drinks. Menu seemed to have several nice options. A great place for a fun night out.

Absolutely no flavor in any of the dishes. The kitchen is tiny and mostly visible to the restaurant, so we watched the cook take frozen cutlets out of a bag and pop them in the microwave. The black beans as a side were not even drained from the can they came in. Service was hard to come by even though we were the only diners for the majority of our meal. The only up — side was the live music.

I watched the chef microwave both our meals. The frozen vegetables brought back memories of forcing them down as a kid. There’s no accountability and a tourist town, but we felt like we had a responsibility to let the public know. You’re welcome.

Anybody just see the article in the Jacksonville Business Journal??? This place was closed recently for two days because the state inspector found live roaches and flies in the kitchen. I think I’ll eat somewhere else.

Can’t speak for the food as all I ordered was a small plate of stale nachos and salsa which tasted like it was from a jar and one beer. A dead guy ale to be exact. The reason for my first and only review on Unilocal… A WARNING!!! Do not go to this place. My order, worth about 10 bucks was paid for with my atm card and I left a good tip for this order, about 4 dollars. A 40pct tip I figured was good enough. Apparently the tall, thin, black haired tat sleeved, female bartender felt she deserved better than that. I returned home and checked my bank statement and noticed she actually added a digits somehow and FRAUDULENTLYGAVEHERSELF A 50DOLLARTIP. I have already disputed it which required me to drive a 40 min round trip to my bank. I have tried to call but get a runaround on when the manager is and isn’t there. Beware of this tourist trap! My best advise if you see a woman who looks like the lead singer from the black crows, but with boobs, pay cash and count your change twice. Disgraceful and disappointing. I wish I could rate less than zero stars.

Found this place by accident … And it definitely won’t be an accident when we return !! Everything is fresh, all natural and organic and cooked to perfection ! Yes, it’s a tiny hole in the wall, but it’s the best daggum hole in the wall ever ! Two thumbs way up !!

Don’t be turned off by the quietness of this place. The food is great, the chef is accommodating to allergies(gluten) and substitutions, and the staff is friendly. Vieja Ropa is juicy and flavorful. The tostones are yummy but a little greasy(I sat mine on a napkins before eating and they were still oily). Some of the meat is dry, but on the plus side, everything is toted to be organic or all natural. The food did take a while to come out, so it’s probably made fresh.

We came for lunch and they had great happy hour deals, just no real liquor or cocktails. Food was good, except I find it hard to believe this cuisine is Cuban. The Ropa Vieja was not Cuban. They used barbecue sauce. That’s a crime.

Great place. Very very small. The food is AMAZING. Must try– onion rings, the burrito bowl, the fish wrap and the fish sandwich! All were absolutely amazing!!! The live music and atmosphere of the place make for an excellent dinner and experience.

Best kept secret on the square! Good food, good service! I haven’t caught the music yet as it is on the weekends, but I’m sure the Latin flavor would come through!
