Sporks Food Truck

Now this is the Pirate of the food truck world. So don’t tell anyone important in Saint Augustine. They were out today at the University of St. Augustine. Yea me to I never heard or thought there was such a monster of higher learning. Ok this is a small truck that is pretty much bare bones inside. They hang a surfboard up on the side and call themselves open for business. They serve some local fish tacos and some sliders. I went with the pork tacos with a side of beans n rice Costa Rican style. Then also the Mexican spiced beef sliders with some mac n cheese. Ok there was quite a line but the owner still took a little time to talk about the truck/​trailer. It took a bit for my food and it didn’t take long for a couple of the items to run out. Getting my food I was quick to try the sliders and the mac n cheese. The sliders were seasoned about the way I thought that they would be but the mac was awesome. Not your normal mac for sure. This stuff had a killer flavor of smoky goodness. There was a bunch of bacon in it also. The tacos were good but nothing really different then I expected. In all it is a good truck that travels everyday so. Remember don’t tell anybody big in the city. okkie dookie

Stopped by for Haitian pork tacos with cilantro lime coleslaw this afternoon. It was completely amazing. Best food I’ve Jason the beach in years.

I love the Sporks Food Truck. Great food made by awesome people. Almost like family is cooking for you. In the winter, try the Black Bean Banana Soup… best soup ever.
All year long, order whatever sliders they are making. It’s always good!

Best Food. Everyday the menu is slightly different. Always has Fish Tacos. I have had the Tacos (of course) Cheeseburger Sliders, Chicken Parmesan Sliders and other Sliders and they are always so yummy.
You have to try the Bacon Mac & Cheese it is so good.
Great place very affordable $ 8 for entrée and a side.

Amazing mahi tacos! Fresh local ingredients –killer pulled pork or cheeseburger sliders (you get 3 plus a side for $ 8)! Can’t choose a fav side bc all are yummy: cilantro coleslaw (A light fresh take on heavy creamy coleslaw it includes fresh pieces of pineapple and or oranges), authentic black beans and rice, and the most incredible baked mac & cheese with bacon! Oh yeah! Worth every single calorie!!! You just can’t go wrong with any item on their menu. They even cater to dietary restrictions bc it’s made to order. There are tables on site to enjoy their delicious food.
