Stopped here for lunch on the way to mesa. Food was great as was the service. Very friendly and clean.

We enjoyed the French toast and Cinnamon roll. The waitress was very professional, helpful and effIcient. What was great was that we got 10% off for staying at the garden inn next door. We would go back again.

We decided to try it out because we are constantly going to Dennys, and we were disgusted! The food was actually good but the service ruined everything! One waitress was walking around with a bloody finger, bleeding through her bandaid! She wasn’t wearing a glove or anything, casually walking around touching everything! Looks like Dennys will always be our go to!

We decided to try Jerry’s because not much else was open on a Sunday morning. The décor inside was cute, with a colorful retro vibe. We were greeted and seated immediately. I was a little leary of eating here because of the other Unilocal reviews, but my partner insisted that it wasn’t that bad. So onward we went. So far, so good. She ordered a French toast breakfast with the works and I ordered a spinach and mushroom scramble with hash browns. The restaurant was in good shape and pretty clean. Our server was on it with the coffee and iced tea refills too. The food came out pretty quickly and it all looked nice. I won’t say that it was gourmet or life altering in the food department, but it was not bad for what it was. My veggies were all fresh and my partner loved the strawberry French toast. Her sausage was deep fried, but apparently that is normal and our hash browns were complete opposite. Mine were undercooked and hers were crispy. But it worked out because that’s how she likes then and I didn’t want any. So overall, the experience was nice and the nostalgic décor gave it charm. The outside of the restaurant doesn’t do it justice.

Well, we’ve tried it twice. Once for breakfast and then once for dinner because everything else in Safford is closed on Sunday it seems. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home to mom about, but the coffee was decent. I was distracted during breakfast though because of the excessive amount of dust hanging off of the vent immediately over our table. That was definitely distracting to me. Dinner was the real reason I’m giving it a two though. I had chicken strips which were fine; frozen and deep fried. True diner fare, nothing to rave about, but okay. My husband’s fish on the other hand was raw in the middle. So… twice we’ve visited and twice we weren’t feeling like it was great, so that’s it for us. If you go, don’t sit under the ceiling vent if you don’t want dust in your dinner.

Jerry’s has great service, but food is gross. I spent a lot of money on chicken tenders which I know were frozen. I don’t go out to eat and spend money on frozen food that I can just make at home. The food is overly priced and not worth it. They need to clean the place up better.

Dirty, cold food, unfriendly service. It was the filthiness that turned us off. Haven’t and will never go again.

Have eaten there a couple of times and had a rotten experience both times. The food never comes out as I order and they are very stingy with the portions. I will not be taken again by eating there.

Came here on an early Saturday morning to catch breakfast and boy was I hungry. The place itself reminding me of a diner I used to work at so that was a plus side. Service overall was excellent! Jerry’s definitely had some history in the town. Been around since the 60’s so that’s pretty cool. Food wise, let’s just say I was hungry and needed to eat. I ordered their special steak and eggs. Eggs and hash browns were pretty darn good, but steak was just really basic tasting. Cooked properly, but I guess you can’t really complain about expectations. In the end, I finished my plate of food and got what I came for; sustenance. — Enjoy!

This is a diner. Decent food and service, but not amazing. I had breakfast here. I was bummed that my biscuit was pretty dry. But, they’re open Sunday, which is rare in Safford.

From the gut busting breakfast portions and the 1940’s décor to the weathered, one-eyed cowboy giving me the occasional«Ain’t from ’round here air ye?» stare down from the bar counter, I declare this spot the most authentically redneck joint in the state of Arizona. Breakfast and a show. Not to be missed — and tip generously. 20% of these prices cannot possibly be a living wage.

My husband and I stopped at Jerry’s on our way home from a quick trip to Willcox, az. My husband ordered«The Bus». I ordered the NY strip steak special. When our order came to our table we were both sitting with our jaws dropped… The Bus is a ham steak that is bigger than a bus! Im sorry I didn’t take pictures, husband dug into it immediately — and said I had to try it! It was the best ham I have ever had too! Smoky background to the juiciest ham steak I have ever eaten. I ended up sharing his ham too and we still had to ask for a to go container for the rest of it! It made 2 sandwiches for lunch, easy! Will definitely go to Jerry’s again! Oh, and the rest of our breakfast was great too. Every town needs a great breakfast spot!

Solid diner food. We ate here twice while biking cross country. Everything we had(both breakfast and lunch foods) were as we ordered. Don’t waste your time with the fast food option in Safford or Thatcher. Just go to Jerry’s and have yourself some real food.

Basic chain restaurant with good basic food. We ate breakfast and dinner there when we were in Safford to take the telescope tour on Mt Graham. The breakfast was okay. Weird hash browns — they were clumped together in a brick shaped mass. Really unappetizing Ordered eggs over medium hard and they showed up over easy both times we ate there. Had a club sandwich for dinner which turned out well. Fries okay. Service friendly but sluggish. Convenient location. If you need basic food at reasonable price this is an acceptable restaurant

Lunch was good, service was almost nonexistent from our waiter, good thing one of the waitresses noticed us, and assisted him ;)

Down to earth restaurant offering decent regular food. Wait was long for the food but the servers were good. I would recommend if your looking for basic home food. Omelet was really good.

Granted I have not been to this Jerry’s in awhile but they always have decent breakfast. This is the usual dinner that the local police and dispatchers go to. The wait staff is usually friendly, the place is decently ran by the management. The place could use a good cleaning though. They are open late and it is usually the typical place for the young crowd late at night after a good party. They have good appetizers as well. I never really ate anything other than their breakfast and appetizers. The prices are decent for this type of dinner. This is a small town so Jerry’s is one of the best places to eat.

Best description? Psuedo Denny’s in Safford. It’s your typical local diner with typical local style food. Bacon and eggs grilled on an «seasoned» grill Okay– their biscuits and gravy was good, compared to others.

Ok, a Dennys opened in Safford and there was all this«hoopla» about it. Guess what? It sucks. Jerrys has and always will be the place to get breakfast, dessert and late night shakes in Safford. Other things to consider: 1. If Safford got excited over a Dennys? Lord help us! 2. If Dennys can’t make people in Safford happy… again, Lord help us. 3. A Dennys coming to town made the news … nuff said Anyway, Jerrys has been there forever and they may have NASTY bathrooms,(that’s why they lost a star) but this is the place for breakfast. There are not many other options either in this small town … so go, and don’t think about anything but the breakfast. Also if you have to go … just hold it. Trust me…

Jerry’s seems like a Denny’s, but not quite. The food quality is about the same, and they seem to cater to truckers. I don’t know exactly what Denny’s target audience is, but its just diner food without any bells or whistles. Food seems more expensive here than other places in Safford, and I don’t know why. You’ll find standard American fare, with some Mexican influences(huevos rancheros, chorizo, etc).
