Unprofessional staff. At this time I’ve been waiting for my doctor for over 1 hour. I didn’t walk in it was scheduled appointment. This is not the first time we had to wait this long. I’ll be changing my doctor as soon as possible.

I see Dr. Lisa Ho. She is amazing. Super thorough and takes her time and actually listens. The best doctor I’ve had in my adult life.

The physicians here are caring and professional. I always feel like my health is important to them. Appointments are efficient and wait times are minimal. Urgent and non urgent appointments are available.

If you want to experience the nightmare of Obamacare today, go see how UC Davis Health System operates. Expect poorly trained physician assistants, doctors, and nurses with bad government employee attitudes. It’s like going to the DMV for medical care. Avoid the emergency room at UC Davis Med Center on Stockton Boulevard if at all possible! It’s doesn’t matter if you have good insurance or not, you will experience long waits to be seen and rude staff. There are also some really scary people in there! Armed security guards bark orders at people. It’s more like a prison than a hospital! What a horrible place!

Previous poster, I disagree 100%. These are neither«dedicated medical professionals», nor do they«treat you like a human being». My husband was in a car accident on Cap City, he was at a complete stand still in traffic when a van hit him and our girls going 60 – 65 mph without so much as a break. When my husband was taken into the emergency room, there were snickers and laughs and they had him waiting 11 and a half hours! They snickered and laughed because my husband, wonderful father, son and the most morally sound person I know is morbidly obese and they did not have the equipment to accommodate him or his size. The staff could not accurately treat him, and left him strapped to a bed for his entire stay! Then they discharged him without treating him! He is so hurt and humiliated! What makes it worse, is that this hospital RECENTLYRENOVATED to try and help the community better! Apparently, they did not take morbidly obese people(who are still people, by the way, with feelings…) into consideration when making all these changes! My husband represents just one of the roughly 15 million Americans who are in the morbidly obese category, and UC Davis is supposed to be THELEADER in medicine in the area! What is worse is that my husband has LOST over 100 pounds in the past 3 years through hard work, calorie counting and dedication, and was laughed at, treated like he was in a freak show, and is emotionally and physically beaten. SHAMEONYOUUCDAVIS!

Never go here to get labs done. When I went there, the reception desk did not have anyone working there. I spent a good 15 minutes waiting around and it was early in the morning. They were processing patients very slowly and many of them were sick in a small room… It felt like the county free clinic. I’m not a medical expert, but you’ll probably get something from one of the sick patients while waiting. Also they don’t have bike racks if you bike around midtown. Better alternative is to make an appointment at the O St. Clinic.
