BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I don’t even want to give them 1 star!
We tried their service for one whole year — absolutely no results — we might as well have just thrown the money out of the window.
Since December, we have been trying to cancel them. We’ve talked to them over the phone, sent email, voicemail, talked to the tech, yet they keep sending someone out and then charging us! I spoke with a manager today, Maya (Agent ID # MGAR2454), and she said she had no record of our cancellation or any prior communications. I couldn’t believe it! It seems as though once they have you as a customer, they apparently don’t let you cancel and keep charging you.
This is an awful, useless, unresponsive company with terrible customer service. They should not be in business!

No improvement after our first service. I contacted David (the account manager) and let him know that we needed a second application as the weeds were still quite evident. That was on ⁴⁄₁₀ and he emailed back saying he’d get a re-​do appointment set up. I e-​mailed him to follow up on ⁴⁄₂₀ and it’s now the ⁴⁄₂₃^rd and no follow-​up from him. This guy is just terrible! I’m not sure what the heck they are doing.

When I purchased my home in the summer of 2014 some of the sprinklers hadn’t been working so the lawn was dead in some areas and the weeds had all but taken taken over. (Remember this was serious drought time). In addition the yellow nutsedge weed had spread and pretty much taken over the entire backyard lawn along with spots of crabgrass here and there.
I started to use TruGreen’s services, but wondered if I was just wasting money and thought perhaps I should just rip up the entire lawn and start over. I made a few inquiries to different lawn experts and tried to decide what to do. I spoke to the local TruGreen manager to give TruGreen a chance to weigh in also. The TruGreen manager said, «Hold before you do anything drastic like ripping up your entire lawn.» So he made a special trip out to my house. When he arrived he assured me my lawn was savable so I asked,“Will it look good in 6 months?” He replied, «In 3 or 4 months».
He was right. TruGreen was able to get the lawn heading in the right direction right away. They sprayed for the crabgrass and yellow sedge immediately. The yellow sedge sort of hung on so they came out again for an an additional application when I called. Of course, the best weed prevention is a strong healthy lawn. They were able to ‘green up’ my lawn nicely too. In a few months the lawn was really looking good and within 6 months it was near perfect.
I’m very satified and customer service wise they have gone above and beyond whether it’s the people @ the call center or the local Sacramento people.

It’s all about customer service, and when they did a job poorly recently, I answered their survey negatively. I received an email saying that someone would call me. No call. I called them because I am refusing to pay my bill. They said someone would call me. No call. I’m tired of dealing with a company that apparently doesn’t care about my business (after at least five years). Recommend that you find someone else.
