Lin is a great stylist. I also recommend her for hair coloring. I had been going to her for years until I moved. The place is modest and does feel outdated, but this doesn’t affect her level of professonalism and skills. It’s a small, family-​based business. She knows what she’s doing. Highly recommended.

Horrible. I went to get my haircut here this afternoon and wanted to try a new place since my regular hair cutter is no longer working at the salon I used to go to.
The guy that cut my hair was sleepin on one of the massage station when I walked in. He was woken up by the lady at the shop and quickly put on his slippers, no, flip-​flops. I didn’t mind the lack of professionism because I was hoping he could cut hair.
When the guy started cutting my hair with the buzzer, I instantly realized I’ve made a terrible mistake to come here. The guy works the buzzer like Frankenstein. My head is not exactly even, but is left my sides looking like a street with too many speed bumps.
At this point, I was just hoping to get through with the hair cut without too many more mistakes. However, when he got to the side burns, he worked them like a see-​saw. He started on one side and made a cut, then went to the other side and cut it too high, then went back to the first side and back and forth. I did not have too much more patience as this point but I could not leave with a shitty hair cut. I asked him to finish the edges with a natural fade, but he didn’t know what that means. It took almost 5 minutes to explain how he should do it, as if I was teaching him how to cut hair.
In the end, I was not satisfied with my haircut, but I was glad to leave without a patch of hair missing from my head.

I’ve been coming here for years. Nothing fancy, but consistent, well priced, and reliable. Lin is super nice and always remembers your cut style. Would definitely recommend to my male friends

I have been coming to Total Beauty Hair and Nails for many years now and I must say, Lin never disappoints. I have been to a few other places with my thick hair and when I ask to get it thinned, they normally take many inches off during the process of thinning. Lin takes the time to understand exactly what I want. She gives me the perfect amount of layers while thinning my hair so it is not too heavy on my hair. Additional to the hair cut, I also come get my eye brows here. I have been to many places, from threading to waxing. I don’t really like threading due to the fact that they put the thread in their mouth and I don’t want that bacteria to go to my face so waxing is the way to go for me. As for waxing, I have been to many places and I either didn’t find them sanitary or they didn’t give me the shape that I wanted. Lin marks sure I am satisfied with my arch before I leave, she even takes the time to help me tweeze the little hairs that the wax could not get. Lin is a very friendly person, I suggest you try this place out if you are looking for a new hair cut!

I was going to accompany somebody getting their hair done at this place. So
I decided I might as well get a Ped. Well to my surprise they only have ONE pedicure station and ONE employee for both HAIR and NAILS! This place is very very old, and their products are very aged and old looking. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place. Especially since the lady didn’t listen to what my friend wanted and did was SHE thought would look good. Yuk. DONT GO HERE!!!

Found Lin through an online coupon deal and I will definitely be going back! She is very nice and personable, and takes the time to talk with you about what you want and offers helpful suggestions. I also decided to have a pedicure while I was there and my toes came out beautiful!

Pros:
— price is low
— fully staffed
— nice massaging chairs
Cons:
— On Sundays, the sign says they open at 10:00 a.m. Wrong, no one shows up until 11:00 a.m.
— They don’t like to tell people what the wait time is, but just asks them to sign in. Odd and annoying really.
— I got a pedicure and while the process was just fine, I’ve had my toe nails painted better elsewhere.
— Their credit card machine does not give you a section to add tip, so they must add it to the total amount or give them cash.
