Holy crap… the food is delicious! The sauce on the tacos is going to give me major heart but, but it will so be worth it.

This taco truck happened to be across the street from my building so I decided to give them a try. I hadn’t heard of their taco truck before so it was a chance I was willing to take. I decided to try the 2 taco plate. It was so good. The salsa, the carne asada, the black beans(by the way they have black or refried beans), the rice, etc. Everything was so good. I was standing there for the longest time trying to decide what I wanted. In my brain I was ordering one of everything on the menu. However, when I finally ordered, only the 2 taco plate order came out. They have so many options for your meals. I love options but sometimes too many options gives me a headache. They make everything fresh so there is a little bit of a wait time. No worries, they are friendly and inviting and they won’t stop you from ordering to your heart’s content. They are a little pricey but it’s pretty standard for a truck since you are paying for them to come to you and they aren’t in their own kitchen. It does cost to keep it all up. Gas prices are insane after all. You should give them a try. Next time, I’m ordering a burrito. It looked so yummy when the guy in front of my collected his food. I wanted to asked him if he would share with me. A taco for half of his burrito. That’s fair, right?

Mmm mmm mmmmmmmm! I just tried this truck for the first time at the Farmer’s Market on 5th& Capitol. I got the Asada Fries and they are DELISH! Here’s why I’m loving this truck… I’m weird about my meat. I don’t like fat and will quit eating as soon as I feel any gristle because it’s grosses me out beyond belief. I’ve seen this truck here many times, but have avoided it because I was afraid of paying $ 8 for a dish I wasn’t going to eat. I don’t like not being able to see the meat before ordering. But today I was starving and the smell emanating from the truck was especially appealing, so I stood in the long hot line & made my order. Got back to my desk and I am digging these fries. The meat isn’t too fatty(it’s asada, so you expect some fat) and absolutely zero gristle. Great quality and delicious food. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I haven’t tried any of their other food.

My favorite tacos. I have used Chuy and Alayna’s taco truck at close to 10 functions now and couldn’t be happier. I have had them park their truck in my driveway at birthday parties and it is always a hit. My recommendation would have to be the chorizo. It is hand made by Chuy and is fantastic. Their lengua was also moist and tender. My go to taco place.

You can find their truck parked at the corner of Fulton and El Camino at lunch time most days. A prior reviewer masterfully told the story of how he ate the nachos of a heretofore unknown drunk girl. After a ripping yarn like that, I wanted to try those nachos. Unfortunately, the truck’s menu only consisted of tacos, burritos, tortas and quesadillas. I chose an asada burrito. The meat was cooked well and seasoned beautifully. They had a very tasty hot sauce in the burrito as well.

Had 4 asada tacos(requested spicy meat) and they were perfectly acceptable /normal street tacos. This was at the Friday night concert in the park(cear chavez plaza) 6−14−13. Came with 2 lime quarters to drizzle on my tacos did not see /find any hot sauce to add but the meat was spicy /hot enough for me !!! As the evening whore on I noticed a load of nachos that looked very good(super nachos) and I had an idea where to get’m, so near the last song of the night I went back to the STREATS truck. I wished I would have gotten a fork so I could get all the morsels off my plate. {tacos 1.75 $ — super nachos 6.00 $} …

I’ll give them props for quality of ingredients. Meat wasn’t grizzle and things tasted fresh. I got steak tacos($ 1.75) you probably need like 4 of them to be satisfied. Pretty basic taco truck menu of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. And nachos. I think that is the way to go: NACHOS. Some drunk girl at Concert in the Park wandered off after only eating half her order. Although she wasn’t very courteous regarding trash, her grooming practices seemed up to par so I figured it was okay to try the nachos she left. Don’t judge. I needed to try at least a couple items to review, right? The chips were great. I noticed an angry customer who got cheeseless nachos. OOPS! I hope you get cheese on your nachos.

Spent $ 5 on a steak burrito which ended up being a spicy bean and rice burrito with a sprinkling of small steak bits. Not only was the burrito not that good it took them almost 15 mins to make when they weren’t even busy. Usually food tastes better when you’re drunk and this was one night that it didn’t. Highly disappointed.
