I have to admit, the burgers here are pretty damn good for airport food. I was super skeptical about this place. But my daughter and I were in a hurry and we wanted some decent food that comes out fast. We both had cheeseburgers. And they were great. Real beef and real cheese – nice! The whole«cheese skirt» thing was interesting. I ate every little spec of cheddar cheese. I even stole my daughter’s cheese skirt and wolfed it down! I was a little irritated by the price. It was $ 27.17 for 2 cheeseburgers and 2 small bottles of water. But every vendor rips you off like this at the airport. They know you’re trapped past security. So if you want something, you have to pony up. Next time, I’ll probably try something else and see if it’s just as good as the burgers. –Daddy Maxx Retro

I had a corn dog and onion rings. My order came out fairly quickly so no complaints with timing, and I will not though that they had just two older women working there near closing time of 8 pm on a Friday night at the airport — terminal a does not have many options in general — but I had so many onion rings in my order that there were enough for two people. I definitely couldn’t finish them and the picture I am posting is *after* I ate about 1.5 servings of onions rings. The corn dog was typical, however there was no stick on the corn dog. I wish I were hungrier at the time to have a burger bc I know the cheeseburgers at this place is delicious — cheese dress and all!

This place sucks! No coffee! No napkins $ 7.00 for a breakfast burrito dripping in grease!

SMF airport has very limited dining options. I decided to eat here and ordered the cheeseburger w/mushroom. The burger is a good portion, I couldn’t finish it. It came with a cheese skirt. I love cheese but that was A LOTOF cheese. $ 4 for a Gatorade.

On a layover here and had to get lunch. I’m not familiar with the other Squeeze Inns within the city so i can’t compare. The burger was bigger than i expected and i didn’t know that the cheese was grilled before it was put on the burger. Taste was pretty good and filling. The burger was greasy and falling apart so i had to use the parchment to hold it. Bun was dense and not the best. Overall the meal tasted good. Service was lacking. There were 4 people behind the counter. The cook, two ladies and some other guy. The guy was behind the counter talking to the other employees and even made eye contact with me but did not acknowledge me and went to the back. It tool a bit before the cook took my order. I was the only one in line. I witnessed the same treatment with other customers while i ate. Even saw a few leave when nobody assisted them. If that other guy was the manager, he needs to do his job and get the service strait. 4 stars for the food, bumped down to 3 for the service

25 minutes to get an over cooked burger on a rock hard stale bun. Burger, fries, Pepsi = $ 18 wasted.

Super low effort on my breakfast burrito, salsa on the side which was not described on the menu. Requested eggs runny, which was completely ignored, not sure they’re real eggs. Why do NorCal airports declare war on fast food and then have«local» establishment serve up comparable quality, worse tasting food and somehow think it’s better? Wish we had a McDonald’s or Burger King. Total nonsense.

We are fans of the Squeeze Inn in Roseville, but the airport was a big disappointment. The onion rings were awesome, but we come for the burger, and it was cold, dry and bad enough that we took it back for a refund. We were the only ones here, it wasn’t busy. Their excuse was«we use different ingredients here». DONTJUDGEALLSQUEEZEINNSBYTHISONE. I’d give Roseville 5stars…

I had the squeeze burger with a side of a la carte fries. The meat Patty tasted like it was frozen, not fresh. It only comes one way– extra well done. The sourdough bun was also not fresh… Certainly not baked today and probably from the freezer as well. Fries don’t come with the burger and are an extra $ 4.50. Clearly an attempt at making more money for the restaurant. I normally wouldn’t balk at this. It’s just that there wasn’t anything good about the fries that made them taste like $ 5 worth. They were the same type of fries you’d get at carnival; tasteless and grease filled potato slices that didn’t even have any salt or seasoning.

FOOD — Corn Dog: perfectly deep fried and comes with a side of fries for only $ 2.49. Initially I wanted to get fries but it’s super overpriced($ 4.39), so I opted for the corn dog. Good thing I did! Now I get both :) 5⁄5 – Fries: well seasoned. Good fries. 4⁄4 SERVICE Fast and friendly. 4⁄5 FINALTHOUGHTS I would come back. Everything I had so far has been good.

I had the bfast sandwich. No line early morning. More filling than McD and at a reasonable price. Butter or cheese grease coming off it made it a little messy buy overall good sandwich

Messy but delicious. I’m confused by the bad reviews, it’s just a burger spot pumping out some tasty burgers. I had the mushroom cheese burger and it was delicious. I loved the crispy cheese skirt. The bun was fresh & pickles were crisp. What more could a girl want? The price seemed right for an airport burger, about $ 9. And frankly after eating a lot of legitimately bad airport food, I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Located past security in Terminal A near the Iron Horse Tavern.

I wasn’t surprised at the lack of breakfast options at 5:30 a.m. at the Squeeze Inn at the airport. What *did* surprise me, however, was that they snuck in their signature cheese skirt into the breakfast burrito. Maybe I’d consider that a score if it was breakfast at 10 a.m. and I was fully caffeinated for the day. But a cheese skirt for breakfast at 5:30 a.m. Tooo much, man. Too much.

Good place to get a burger hit with the fried cheese overflow. It’s a pretty greasy experience, but that is the reason for the indulgence. The breakfast sandwich is simply a cut down burger — with a choice of bacon or sausage. Nothing outstanding or unique — but a good breakfast start to the day.

THESHORT: 1) Your first contact with your brand needs to be engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable. 2) With a line that’s more than 6 – 7 deep, consider opening up another cashier 3) Consider even one veggie option. It’s absurd to consider that I got a decent Squeeze veggie burger at the State Fair, but I can’t get one at an International Airport. 4) The Prices are out of hand. THELONG: The whole point of having local shops represented at SMF is so that they can keep the money local and project a brand presence, so that when someone is IN Sacramento, they recognize the brand, patronize the establishment, have a positive association with it, and return. 1) She not only was grumpy and irritable, but she offered no additional options when asked. And even misdirected with false information. Perhaps she doesn’t like her job, but it doesn’t matter. She was a terrible spokesperson for the«Squeeze» Brand. If I were a manager, she certainly wouldn’t be my first point of contact. 2) Clearly, it’s hard to gauge traffic. But when there are people available, and they’re having a conversation, not acknowledging customers, and not opening up another line… it’s just not good form. Fail #2 3) Inside Terminal B there’s a Burgers N Brew. They have a veggie option. And a larger selection. Vegetarians have been around for millennia. It’s a solid demographic in the«Farm to Fork Capital». Consider providing even one option. It may only be 7−10%of the business, but expanding options while limiting menu items is possible. Even In-N-Out has veggie options. To be clear, she even said that«There ain’t no veggie ay-thing anywheres around here!» There are plenty of options. Even next door at Paesano’s. Fail #3 4) Price gouging doesn’t help your cause. I imagine that operating costs are higher at the airport, but refer to the reasons that you’re there: to build brand recognition and develop a clientele that will come to your other establishments. Fail #4 I want to support your business. But you’re making it really difficult to do that.

Limited breakfast items available. In fact, the only thing they had was the breakfast sandwich(select your meat: sausage, bacon or ham). If you are looking for a healthy alternative, this isn’t it! The breakfast burrito was not available at all. For $ 7 it’s one of the cheaper breakfast items here at the terminal. Would not be back, sandwich was too heavy and greasy.

Gross! Ordered the Corn Dog and middle was still frozen! And there was no stick to hold it… just an empty hole at one end. And love the ketchup… CANWESAYGENERIC!

It’s a good burger, no doubt. The cheese skirt is worth the price. However, this location needs a service overhaul. For an airport fast food option, skip Squeeze Inn and look for something else. I waited 25 minutes on a Monday at 11:25am. My comrades-in-waiting fared no better, and some left for their flights without receiving their food. With only 3 people working the food and 1 person taking orders I was not impressed. My wife ordered from the nearby wine bar, for example, and had finished her meal before I could even see that beautiful cheese skirt.

July 25, 2015 Saturday — 11:00AM for lunch An Adult and a kid Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — The summer break is over for my daughter. Her flight is usually around noon so I need to feed her before her flight. Atmosphere — WOWSMF terminal A food court is changing. You can easily take a star away for the construction of the food court area but they are improving the area. It is not a disaster area but walled off nicely so you can not see the construction of the new restaurants going in. Because of this construction and changes here at SMF they got Squeeze Inn. Food Drinks — I had nothing to drink. My daughter got a bottle of water from the little food display case where they were selling drinks. I did not see a soda fountain machine for them. Lunch — $ 9 Cheeseburger. Okay I typically do not expect much from an airport food, why they can serve good food is beyond me. Today Squeeze Inn proved me wrong, it was good. It has been years since I been to one, forgive me as I do not live in SAC. I stole a few bites from my daughter’s burger. Okay I started with that fabulous cheese skirt then I went to the burger. She ordered a plain cheese burger. Only three items for the burger, nothing fancy here. Each item stood out with great taste. The meat was cooked perfectly and the bun wow I forgot how good that was. Service — They were fast. Like before I have been to another Squeeze Inn. They have more staff at this location then the other one. They had 6 people working, 4 just in the
