Delicious burgers all made fresh to order. Good frys. Definitely worth the wait. Just an FYI this place only takes cash so come prepared.

Unbelievable… I’m not from around the area so I just happened to stumble on this place. Based on the prices I figured the burgers would be pretty small, so I ordered the double. Normally I can vanquish every ounce of food on my plate, but the Fat Boy burger defeated me. The bacon was thick and freshly cooked, and the buns were perfectly toasted and very fresh. Easily the best value and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I don’t know how this place doesn’t constantly have a line a mile long.

Amazing little dive. The sourdough burger amazing. Love this place and that says alot be cuz I am so picky.

I have 0 complaints about their food. Both times that I’ve eaten here has always been satisfactory. My favorite is their Jalepeno poppers with cream cheese. Mmm mmm.

this place has the best burgers in town hands down too bad its in the ghetto and i cant get there as often as i would like too but if you havent been it is a must!

My husband wanted me to try this place out… it was ok nothing amazing but a good big burger!!! Tasted like a typical diner burger with a bigger patty! If I were to come back again I would try making my own selection and add the avocado, grilled onions, etc maybe I would have a better experience! Don’t get me wrong the burger was delicious but it doesn’t compare to some of the burgers I have tried such as a Dads burger on Freeport!

Got the Fatboy combo and it was a monster burger with everything on it. Came heavy on the onions but light on the bacon seemed more like pieces and not strips. If you’re not into onions hold off for sure. Fries were ok not crispy but seasoned well. The gem are the onion rings. They are a must if u order any sides or subs get these! Most the sides are on point and priced well. Mozz sticks and shrooms were a great addition to this feast as well. Chased everything with a blueberry shake and it was tasty as well. Nothing special but made well and they have tons of flavors. Might have a little bit of a wait but its a busy spot and wayyy better than any fast food joint.

First time here, but not the first time at a burger shack.
Mushroom burger — Decent, but nothing special though. Enjoyed the bun, not like any other.
Fries — Crinkled cut, freshly made, but only taste the oil it was cooked it. No flavor.
Milkshake — Chocolate, taste like a fudge popsicle not ice cream. Not that good.
Cash only, good thing I had a $ 20 on me.
Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Great burgers and super tasty shakes! I love a good burger and this place did not disappoint. My son got an AMAZING Rocky Road + Marshmallow shake that kicked the crap out of my simple chocolate one! Lol
The only real issue I had with the place is that there is not a lot of seating. Do be fair, in the title is says «shack» and that is exactly what this is; a fantastic, hole in the wall, burger shack with mean shakes that will have you stuffed for hours.

I drove by this place multiple times. It never really caught my attention until i decided to Unilocal it. I was quite surprised how many good reviews it got so i decided to come by and check it out.
The next day, i arrived at the restaurant at 11 am sharp since they open at that time. As i waited in front of the window, a women open the window and tells me they won’t open until 11:30 b/​c they are waiting for a supply delivery. I was annoyed and i wasn’t going to wait b/​c i had class soon.
So i came back on another day and i ordered a western giant burger, jalapeño burger, mozzarella sticks, and mac&cheese bites. Very good prices. Paid roughly $ 14.
The waiting period was at least 20 – 30 mins. Way too long.
Anyways, I sub my western burger with pastrami instead of bacon and it was delicious. It was really enjoyable. The jalapeño burger was okay. The cheese sticks tasted like it came from restaurant depot but it was good though. The mac&cheese bites… not a fan. It was bland and it wasn’t cheesy.
Not too fond of the service but it was a good experience. I’ll definitely give it another try.

I decided to go to Scott’s with friends for lunch since one of them had it before. The prices aren’t too high and seem fair. I got the Fatboy combo and Mac n cheese bits. The food wasn’t AMAZING but it was decent.
Con: Very small menus and unorganized line. Over 20 minute for our food which came out very hot so that’s a good sign!

I went here on a sat during noon time and it was busy. Took about 25 mins to get my meal. I was in the area for work training and a friend recommended this place. The wait sucked but i was told normally there wait wasn’t that long. I have the Fatboy burger meal and oh my, it was delicious. The burger alone made me full and i still had a bunch of fries left over. I will definitely come back for a burger when i am in the area again.
Oh also the parking is very small so good luck so it was hard to get parking, had to wait for someone to get out.
Tip: you can order to go so its ready when u get there.

What kind of cave man era place is this. I pull up hungry eager to eat a burger pull out my debit card and say they only take cash? The time i did get a chance to eat it the burger patty tasted like it was born in oil, fried in oil, and drizzled with oil.

My Husband has been saying fpr about 6months that he wanted to take me here, Burgers Are Amazing… Finally in the area working Hard. He was Not lying! We both had Fat Boy combos & our 4yr old had the Hotdog. Freshly made & Wonderful portion. This place is Definitely a place to have a nice thick juicy burger!

VERY long wait but that’s because it’s DELICIOUS. Pastrami burger, mushroom burger, they’re all delicious. Their milkshakes are really good as well.
It’s best to call in your order though. I recently called in and there was a 40 minute wait (probably from a large order.) My mouth is watering, I’m hungry.

Scott’s Burger Shack is amazing! I first tried their burgers about a year ago, to the incessant nagging of my boyfriend that I try «the ugly hole in the wall» burger joint off Franklin boulevard. I was skeptical at first, the bad location plus sort of run down appearance from the outside left much to be desired. I was happily surprised by the quality of the food, huge portions and fresh-​off-​the-​grill/​homemade taste. The shack has since been my go-​to place for a cheat meal!
Today, 1÷24÷16 my boyfriend and I phoned in an order for ourselves and my family. We ordered five burgers total and each one needed to be customized. I told the woman on the line that I had a somewhat lengthy order and to please bear with me. She was super helpful as she repeated the order back to me word for word to ensure it was correct. Everyone was beyond pleased with their perfectly customized burgers and no one had to pick anything off of them.
Quick note: everyone keeps saying the woman behind the counter is unfriendly and exhibits bad customer service… I think she just has a more serious disposition. Nonetheless, she’s always seemed very helpful to me.

Humongous Fatboy burgers anyway you want them! Their menu is extensive, but I’m stuck on the fried mushrooms! Great-​tasting shakes! Very refreshing… especially when the temperature is 100+ degrees in Sactown. Can’t wait to try some other items on their menu!

Dalibor Z. and I stopped here for lunch. He ordered a Triple Fat Boy and I asked for «just a burger with cheese» since they had a ton of burgers with different names and toppings on them and I wasn’t interested in any of that. The cashier asked if I meant a cheeseburger and I said yes, which was stupid on my part since I ended up with a burger with everything AND cheese when I only wanted cheese as the topping. I didn’t think it would be so hard to convey that, but I was tired and unfamiliar with this shack.
I picked apart the burger and it was OK, a bit on the dry side. The Triple Fat Boy that was ordered came out as a Double Fat Boy, which worked out since it was a lot of food.
Food is alright but be very specific about your order and check what you’re served since it may still be incorrect. We both really enjoyed the fries, though.

Tried this place for the first time & I was impressed with the quality. I got a Fatboy Combo for about $ 8 & it comes with a burger, fries & x-​large drink. Most places would have a combo for $ 10+ with smaller portions. The burger was fresh & it satisfied my craving. definitely filled me up. Would come here next time when I’m starving!

Burgers are ok but service is very very very poor, I usually don’t leave negative feedback but I must share my experience. Place was all empty I placed my order and all of sudden lady started yelling and cashier barged out leaving me standing. I walked out as well over heard the conversation lady was begging she has sick baby in car and she be back in few minutes so let them park there. Cashier came back finished my order and grabbed the phone was yelling that he will call tow truck… Hung up barged out again, I got my order and left my order was all messed up. They were more worried about car in empty parking lot then customer at their register.
I will not do business at this place anymore if person is not respectful to women and kids he ain’t got my respect. Cashier should see doctor and get good blood pressure pills.
