First time there. I believe it was the owner, Ruben who gave me a hair cut. He did a great job. I got a great hair cut for $ 9.00 + tip. I highly recommend. 4 stars.

My fiancé went so far as to tell me to write a review for Ruben. Great guy, great shop, awesome haircut. One chair so you might have to wait but the time is well spent in the relaxed atmosphere. The warm shaving cream and straight razor trim at the end is definitely legit. All of this for a sweet price.

Quick, efficient, precise, and inexpensive… what more can you ask for from a former military barber? Barbershop friendliness? He’s got plenty of that too! And he’s the closest barber to the old depot!

Wow 9 bucks! This old man cuts with precision and takes it back old school. Ruben is very meticulous in his work. To top it off, he has 35 years of experience! I definitely found my barber in Sac.

Remember back in the day when the barber would break out the hot shaving cream and straight razor and cleanup behind your ears and the back of your neck? Well Ruben still does that and you get an exceptional haircut as well! The conversation is always good at this one chair shop but Ruben is quick so the wait is never long.
If you’re tired of salons and the other places that just want your cash, then this is the place for you, he has been here cutting hair for 35 years and I hope he’s here for 35 more!
