Rosy Acri At Salon Chic

Rosy did an amazing job on my hair! I got an awful cut at another salon. She was able to fix it and bring all my confidence back!

So, I finally, successfully, signed up with Unilocal. I am writing reviews for services that I’ve received in the past. I, too, like another poster, was a walk in customer and started off with MaryAnn. After MaryAnn’s untimely passing I began going to Rosy! She is one of the few hairstylists that I’ve been to that really listens to her client! She would rather undercut and ask you if it’s what you want or cut more off at your request. I get compliments on my hair quite often. She rocks!!! And, she is not surrounded by drama! I’ve been to some hairstylists that tell you all about the drama going on in their lives! I love her work and her work ethic! She is a true professional!!! I also love her sense of humor! ;) On a side note, not only is Rosy an asset to her profession; she is an asset to her community! She, her husband and her family and friends, put together Christmas bags filled with all kinds of things to make homeless teens Christmases brighter! The bags are filled with Toiletry items, makeup, candy, gloves, beanies and more! They put together about 125 bags this year alone! I, as a school employee, have witnessed the joy on the faces of these kids! Love her!

I highly recommend Rosy! I started with MaryAnn and crossed over to Rosy 6 years ago. I feel like she’s been «mine» since she came to MaryAnn’s. Rosy took care of my daughters hair for years and now she lives in LA she still claims Rosy as hers! We are dedicated to our Rosy! Not only is she great at what she does with our hair she is a great person too! I travel from Elk Grove for her and would go even farther to have her take care of my hair!

Rosy is awesome! My mom & I have both been going to Rosy for a few years now. She is a fantastic hairdresser and an awesome person. She offers to clean up or cut more hair after a few days if we aren’t 100% happy (who does that!?!), but she always does such a great job I don’t need the additional appointment. We would drive miles to have her cut our hair. I highly recommend Rosy to cut anyone’s hair.

Like the previous person, I have been going to Rosy for 15 years… I’ve followed her to three different salons, and will follow her anywhere… First, she is the ultimate professional, always on time; always prepared, and friendly. When you are in her chair you get 100% of her attention; never is she having lengthy calls or conversations with others. Her hair cuts are excellent; she never cuts too much and will do what you want. Her advice has always been spot on and years ago, when I kept trying to save money — by coloring my own hair… she fit me in, and brought in a colleague to discuss how best to «fix» my then orange/​pink hair disaster. Her concern has always been not just pleasing me… but also making sure my hair was healthy and beautiful, for the long term… not just until my next shampoo. She doesn’t try and talk me into another expensive process or product, but is reasonably priced and willing to come up with a plan to do what I want. If I can’t afford everything all at once; maybe I can’t afford the weave I want… she might suggest just do the front… or touch up this time, and weave next… and do you really need your hair cut this time? As a single mom herself, she was always empathetic… and her jokes! You’ll have to go see her to get the whole show.

I’ve been going to Rosy for over 15 years and wouldn’t change hairdressers if my life depended on it. I get compliments on my hair on a daily basis. Thank you Rosy for making me feel like a million bucks every day! Love you!
