I live in RP and have ordered here twice since the new management /re opening end of 2015. This place has been here for 20 years… lord only knows how many new owners there have been. But I must say, everything we ordered was good. Wor won ton soup, pork fried rice, pot stickers, and sweet and sour chicken. We will be back and best wishes to the newest re opening :)

My husband and I have eaten here a few times, we have had similar experiences every time. The fiod is super greasy, and tends to send us to the bathroom within an hour after consuming it. The food is pretty sub par, and we have yet to have a delicious, or for that matter, truly enjoyable meal from River Wok. This is by far, not the greatest place to order asian cuisine in the area. On a positive note, the staff has always been very pleasant & knowledgeable. We have had great service each and every time we have ordered from here, both take-out and dine-in. If only the quality and taste of the food matched the service this would be a wonderful place to dine.

Ive eaten at this place three times and all three times the food was never that good. They charge a lot for just two options on a plate meal. Tonight I went in since i really needed to go grocery shopping and once again i regret it. I ordered a dinner plate to go. I added broccoli and chow mein knowing it would cost extra and i was fine with that(who charges more for fried rice and chow mein?). When I got home, not only was the egg roll missing from the dinner plate, they literally gave me 5 small pieces of broccoli. There wasnt even any beef with it. I paid $ 11 for tofu, chow mein, and 5 pieces of broccoli. Definitely my last time going back

Went to River Wok on 9÷23÷15 and found it closed. Sign on door indicated work needed… no date for re-opening.

Had the orange chicken with chow mein lunch today. The lunch plates are $ 7 for large portion size, soup(yum!!!) and egg roll or won-ton. Super fast service and the food was EXCELLENT. Server friendly. Lots of menu choices and I can’t wait to go back and try the Chow Fun.

I live in River Park and really wanted to like this place. This was probably the worst Chinese food I’ve had. I ordered shrimp with green beans and hing King style noodles. The shrimp tasted«off» and they gave me about 6 of them. Mostly green beans and the flavor didn’t taste good. The noodles were a mix of crispy and soggy and the sauce tasted almost sweet. Super disappointing, I should have taken it back. Won’t be going back.

We are a big fan but just recently we were disappointed with our huge order… there’s a difference when there’s a change in the chef… Mongolian beef is my husband’s favorite but since that order, it’s no longer his favorite.

Quick service! Hot food! All in all great experience! I got the general chicken lunch combo for $ 5.95 and it tastes good.

This place was really expensive for the quality of food. I ordered steamed chicken and broccoli for my daughter and got something that, not joking, looked like brains. My husband was brave enough to try it and he said that it didn’t taste like chicken. I’m not saying that it was brains, it just looked like it. My food was okay, but we won’t be going back.

We have done take out here twice. First time here was reasonably good. Our second time we were disappointed and won’t be back. The sesame beef was all batter and no meat. The almond chicken had no almonds. They left off our order of rice altogether. Pass on this one.

Very disappointing. Every dish was just ok. I didn’t even keep the leftovers… Staff was nice though.

Just moved to River Park so we decided to try the local Chinese place . The food we ordered was hot and delicious. The Broccoli Beef was excellent. Tasted fresh and not chewy at all. Excited to try more plates from this restaurant.

River Wok is the kind of place that’s good for pick-up or delivery when you’re planning a comfy Friday night at home with a few adult beverages and some guilty pleasure on the TV. Not gourmet fare but not quite junk food either. Generous portions and a friendly staff that is very willing to accommodate special requests. They’re also very fast I’ve rarely had to wait more than fifteen minutes for my order to be ready. Two things to be mindful of are, one, when ordering over the phone, make certain you are understood. I have had a few problems with the language barrier over the years. Two, and in that same vein, it is always a good idea to check your order. I’ve eaten here a lot over the years and I’m sure I will for many more, and that’s a pretty good recommendation.

Good cheap lunch for a strip mall Chinese Restaraunt. The General Chicken was a little on the sweet side and could have used a little more heat but everything was actually pretty good. The place surprised me.

They catered a work event and I would guess the food is much better in the restaurant. The broccoli beef was outstanding.

My boyfriend and I have been going to River Wok since it was Little Panda. The food is great. Not once have we gotten a bad meal from them. All around consistent. We have tried many thing on their menu but out favorites would be the broccoli beef and the sesame chicken. The food is always fresh and delicious. Besides having good food another great thing about the place is the service. The staff is friendly an courteous. They are willing to «tweak» your meal a little bit and overall helpful in getting your order figured out. Occasionally the chef will come out and check on how you are doing. This makes it a little more personal which is a nice thing because you know the person who is making your food actually cares about how you like it. So if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by River Wok for some great food and service.

same owners as Little Panda of recent years but with kicked up flavors and a beautifully remodeled space. my parents and i haven’t been disappointed by their huge Po Po Platter appetizer, dinner for 1 Szechuan tofu with fried rice(no meat in rice) and veggie spring roll, tofu with vegetables in hot garlic sauce over rice, beef with asparagus, Mongolian beef, chicken with mushrooms, honey walnut prawns, house special chow fun, chow mein, sweet n sour shrimp or tofu, garlic ginger fried rice… need i go on? not only are the owners extremely sweet but can also make pretty much any combo or dish you’d like specific to your needs/allergies. their hot n sour soup(i asked very nicely to exclude the egg and pork) is the absolute best i’ve tasted– great blend of flavors and enough kick to make your nose runny. if it doesn’t open up my sinuses or make my eyes water a bit, it doesn’t have enough heat for me. most importantly… NOMSG!!!
