Loved my experience here! From the service to the food itself. Everything was top notch. I’m usually really reluctant when someone insists on going somewhere vegetarian(Do we have to really???”) but the food here did not make me miss meat at all. There are a lot of meat imitations(seitan and tofu sort of stuff). I also liked how there was an Asian flavor to the meal. Overall, very filling and healthy, and I would come back here if I lived in Sacramento. The waiter was very patient with us, gave us great recommendations, and took his time to list out some of his favorites. The ambiance is kind of meh(basic furnishings) but I’m more into places for the food rather than décor. An entrée is ~$ 10 – 12.

Initially, I really liked this place but after today, I’M DONEWITHTHISPLACE. Don’t get me wrong, the male waiter/host was very helpful & nice, but the female server was EXTREMELY rude. So what happened? We ordered golden rolls & while I was working on my second roll, I saw a big ol’ piece of hair sticking out of the fillings. It was mixed so deep w/the food that I would have to break it open completely to get the darn thing out. SO, I flagged down the waiter & told him about the situation & showed him the eggroll hair. He apologized over & over, and I was very understanding. He took it away & asked me if I wanted a new order & I said yes. However, it takes forever to come out(30 mins) & by this time, we’ve already finished the main entrée/meal, so when the female server finally brings it out, I ask her if she can pack it to go. She stops in her tracks, ROLLSHEREYESATME, and turns away to set it back on the platter. Then in a rude & demeaning tone, she snaps, «You didn’t say TODOTHAT earlier!» And walks away angrily. WOW… WELL, FYI — I would not have asked for it ‘to go’ had you not put frikkin hair in it in the first place-and then on top of it, take half an hour to bring it back out! How dare you treat me as if I’m some entitled, ungrateful customer for(a) not wanting to eat hair in my food(b) simply asking for it to go. IT’S YOURFRIKKINJOB! Clearly that girl did not care about representing the business in a professional light & I’m sad to see that such behavior is allowed. Like any other food establishment, your customer service & food quality should be PRIORITY. I’m never coming back here & I don’t recommend anyone to come here. There are other vegan/vegetarian places that have better quality of food & customer service. Don’t settle for this place!

Good vegetarian/vegan food options for those looking for meat alternatives they have some delicious options. Just wish they had more lighter menu options available than all the fake meat stuff and soy/gluten meat alternatives. Their spring rolls are really good and the r5 is one of my top favorites. Sometimes service here is slower on busy days than others, but generally the staff is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is more casual than fancy, you can have lunch or dinner here and I would recommend for those transitioning from a meat to a veggie lifestyle.

Maybe I went on an odd day. I wend midday during the week and ordered some spring rolls and fried tofu. The two people working were either brother and sister or two lovers having a tiff. They were bickering, one apparently arrived to work late, so then they bickered about that. The fried items tasted like the oil was a bit old.

This place is my number 1 vegetarian restaurant. It’s close to me, cheap, and the food and atmosphere is incredible. I had a «orange chicken» plate(I’m not sure of the actual name on menu) and it was beyond enjoyable. The black male server that helped me had one of the best service I’ve had in awhile. And the price was not bad at all for what you get. I believe my plate was $ 8.25

A good friend of mine who’s vegan took me here the other day and the food is incredible. The flavors are complex, and I didn’t even notice that it was vegan. Nothing tasted ‘earth mother’, no nuts or seeds or weird fake mayo. Just incredible tasting asian fusion dishes. The service was wonderful too. The place was busy with customers, and the phone was ringing with to go orders and there was only one waiter(I think he said they were down a person). He didn’t miss a beat though, it couldn’t have been better if they had a full staff working. I’m completely impressed with the food and service and will be back for sure. If all vegan food tasted like this I would probably make the switch!

Can’t say enough great stuff about this place. As a vegan in a town with very little vegan options(especially exclusively vegan place) this is honestly all I need. Every time I’ve been here, it’s always super chill and peaceful. But not too much, I’ve dealt with one too many vegan places that are way too chill. Like every other vegan place is run by slow hippies(I’m looking at you The Green Boheme) and they are just super pretentious and unprofessional(again, Green Boheme). But this place has what every other vegan place doesn’t, balance. It’s totally professional, the staff is super friendly, the cooks are amazing, the interior is comforting, super chill music always playing, and most importantly, the food is just the best on all levels. I’m weird and love my food extremely spicy. Like so spicy that there’s almost no flavor, it just burns. And this place is always able to do that for me. I’ve had their food as is just to be fair and even then it’s pretty good. Sometimes I’ll even get it as is which is totally rare for me. Their menu is very easy to understand and their dishes might be vegan versions of existing non vegan dishes, but they always manage to make it their own. That’s one of the other things I love about this place, it knows what it is and doesn’t try to be anything else. It doesn’t try too hard cause it doesn’t have to. These people know what they’re doing and most importantly, they know what vegan people want. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence that every time I come her I’m served by the same guy, but of all the people I’ve met here, one of the servers named Christian is the most friendliest, professional, and helpful servers I’ve ever encountered. As a guy with tons of customer service experience, this guy hits every note on point. Just come here and don’t go anywhere else if you’re vegan

Two years later after my first review… so here are the updates: Better Menu — more organized and clearer descriptions Quicker Kitchen — appears to be less wait time even on a busy weekend night Major Service Improvement — even when every table is full and there’s to-go orders left and right, the guys that work here are flat out amazing and work really hard. So glad they changed the staff! Everything else still stands. Noble is still a thriving gem. I wish there was another location closer to my house…

This place is a hidden gem in this area. Nothing much from the outside but inside they made this a welcoming space with fabulous food with good energy inside. The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and asked if we had been in before. We told him this was our first time and he said if we had any questions about the menu to just ask. He was very knowledgable of all the offerings on the menu and freely answered our questions. We looked things over and there was just so much to choose from. We started with the egg rolls which were hot and fresh and recommended by fellow Unilocalers. I got the Eggplant tofu without the tofu and asked them for«thai hot» and they made it a little spicy which is much better than most places. Usually they see my skin color and they skimp on the spice but here they did a pretty good job and also brought me more condiments to spice things up more if I needed to. They have many options and vegetarian or not you will find something good to eat here so if you have a vegetarian friend who you want to take out to eat bring them here and surprise them. I like to eat vegetarian food but do not like tofu(hence the reason I just said add more eggplants in mine and skip the tofu) I have given up meat for periods of time and if and when I do I do not need a substitute the vegetables are enough. Hubby got a noodle and tofu dish and as a meat eater he was still satisfied. I will be back for sure and recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal.

I am vegan, but I really don’t like fake meat. This restaurant has a LOT of fake meat on its menu, and I specifically ordered items without it. Still, both the spring rolls and chow mein that I ordered came with fake meat. Gross. I will not be back. Plant based foods don’t have to be heavily processed to taste good or provide nutrients! Also, I should add that even without the fake meat, this would have been the absolute worst chow mein I have ever had. I think they put cinnamon on it – why would anyone do that?

I am a long time customer of noble vegetarian. My husband is friends with the owners so Leah… Maybe this review could help out. At first, I was so excited at the prospect of a vegetarian restaurant in my area, the food was fresh, delicious, good portions, good prices, great customer service. Lately, I have been noticing some changes. The portions seem smaller than they used to. The portion sizes don’t justify the prices. My dad got the eggplant dish. For almost $ 10 he got something that seemed like an appetizer size. The R5 that I normally get and love, seemed like it had less noodles. I took 3 fork fulls of noodles and they were already gone! The vermicelli noodle bowl my husband got came in a different bowl. And normally where the bowl is filled to the top, this time the food only was halfway filled to the top. what is going on? I used to love this place. Now when I go here I get the sense of being ripped off. I’m sorry, it hurts me to say this because my husband is friends with the owners here… But I hope you all can take this constructive criticism and use it to help your business. My suggestions? Lower the prices by a dollar and increase the portion size. What you shouldn’t change? The customer service. All of your waiters are so sweet, helpful, and professional. Keep up the good work!

We randomly just decided that we will try out this restaurant. I really enjoyed myself. ENVIRONMENT The place is located close to American River College. The place is clean and well maintained. SERVICE The waiter was very friendly and was really helpful in explaining the dishes. He answered our questions and made it a very pleasant experience. FOOD The waiter kept filling our glasses with water that had mint and lemon. It was really delicious. I wanna get one of those pitchers now for myself. We ordered the golden rolls, ruby pearls and the royal noodle soup. Im actually not a vegetarian, but Simone is one. I was actually impressed by the the food. I think we ordered a lot of food and I was full in the end. I was really surprised how the food was very tasty and delicious. It was really good. I will definitely return. I enjoyed my experience and the food was wonderful.

i’ve only been here twice but i really love this place, and surprisingly my meat eating husband loves it too. every single thing we’ve tried was so tasty and beautifully creative. I’ve been vegetarian for 20 years and have never had anything like the food here… very impressive. I’m ovo-lacto, and generally am not impressed with vegan food… but the food here is really lacking nothing at all. The setting itself is kind of hole in the wall, but they’ve done a lot to make the inside look warm and inviting, and the presentation of the food is just beautiful. The prices are very reasonable as well, and I get the feeling that whoever created this menu could easily make more money with an upscale restaurant with a full menu including meat, but has chosen to go vegan on principle. p. s. — their menu has been updated since the other photos posted here but I didn’t think to take pictures. Every item includes a photo on their new menus… very helpful in choosing

Tucked at the end of a non-discript small strip mall is this small 100% vegan eatery(no MSG and no dairy. that includes no eggs). I recently remembered to bookmark Noble Veg and one of my Unilocal friends noticed. She’d been here a few times, raved about it, and was surprised I hadn’t. The next week, the two of us met for dinner. This was my first experience at a true vegan restaurant. Honestly, I really wasn’t sure what to expect while harboring visions of tofu floating soups, bland flavors, and aging hippies or trendy pretentious hipsters cramping my eating style. Die hard carnivores are nodding their heads and vegetarians/vegans are building defenses as they read. Slightly sheltered? Yes. This meal truly changed my perspective and expectations. Our meal(s) this evening: * S4 — Golden Rolls(beautifully golden brown spring rolls of Taro, Soy, vermicelli and greens) * H3 — Royal Noodle Soup(vermicelli, lemon grass soup, vegehams(?), tofu, and mixed vegetables) * R6 — Love from Above 2(chow-mein noodles and vegebeefs(?) stir-fried with mixed vegetables) An amazing meal, full of flavor, reflective textures, served in meal sized portions. The meal left me completely satisfied and not the least bit hungry. I’m not Italian but I eat Italian food. I’m not Greek but I eat Greek food. Don’t turn your back just because something doesn’t fit ‘your’ concept of a meal. Carnivorous Disclosure: Meat doesn’t play a big role in my diet; I consider myself a part-time carnivore. Dairy is a much bigger deal. I’m not discriminatory. If it’s good, I’m good with it. This meal was great.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a few years now, but wasn’t able to when they were closed on my day off of Sunday. Now that I get weekends off, Joe surprised me by taking me out to dinner here on a Saturday! We had heard a lot of good things about this place from one of our favorite Unilocal couples Danielle W. & James W. As we drove into the parking lot of the small, unassuming strip mall, I immediately wondered how they were staying in business in this quiet, practically unnoticeable location. But as we entered this cute, modestly decorated restaurant, it seemed like a place with some interesting character. Especially when we got our menus! For a vegetarian eatery, there was quite a large array of dishes to choose from! Our waiter was very friendly and eager to serve. There were only a few patrons present when we first arrived, but quickly got busier in a matter of minutes. We both started off with ice teas and an appetizer called Prawns Perfection rolls, which was similar to Goi Cuon(Vietnamese spring rolls). The vegetarian prawns tasted and looked like the real thing! The accompanied peanut dipping sauce was added to enhance it’s flavor. Since I like my ice tea sweet, I noticed that there were no condiments on the tables such as sugar, salt, pepper, etc., so I asked the waiter if I could have some sugar for my tea. He returned with 1 packet. I thanked him, but was afraid to ask for more since I like 3 – 4 packs of sugar in my tea. I wasn’t sure if there was a ration for customers, or they were very serious about how they represent health and wellness and limited such indulgences to their patrons. I decided to force myself to drink the tea unsweetened to my taste. But I began to notice that the Jasmine flavor of the tea on it’s own wasn’t too bad after all! When the time came to order, I got the eggplant tofu: eggplant, fried tofu and a spicy house sauce, while Joe got the curry lemongrass: stir fried vegetables, bell peppers, lemongrass and coconut juice. We also got a side of brown organic rice for $ 1.95 extra instead of the regular standard white rice. After a few bites in, we both acknowledged and agreed as to why Danielle & James love this place! Our meals were perfectly cooked, with a delicious combination of texture and flavors! I look forward to coming back again to try out more dishes that I have my eye on! I might even forgo my bad sugar cravings for health’s sake!

Since I’m on a vegan kick and we were traveling back from Southern California, we ended up at this spot after a Unilocal search! Great find, its«in the cut» as we say back home; Meaning the restaurant is not really in a prominent location in my limited view. The customer service is top notch, the vibe is mellow and laid back, I completely relaxed in this place. Parking is good for the location as I’m not sure the other establishments get tons of traffic. Now for the most important part! The food is awesome! It was full of flavor and the waiters will give you sound advice if you’re unsure about which choice to make. The Phở was off the chains, roach upside down on its back legs kicking good.(note I did not see any bugs, it’s only my weird attempt at humor. Don’t judge me.) I see myself making this a regular stop for good Asian fusion food! Bottom line: Stop reading this and get your you know what in the place, eat here people!

On a hot Sacramento day en route to Roseville, my pal and I decided on cold noodles… a Unilocal search later we were led to Noble vegetarian. We were first taken aback by the«shady strip mall» look, but upon entering we found it to be an inviting interior. We were only one of two parties in the restaurant, but it was a little after lunch time. I was dismayed that the restaurant was still rather warm, since I had hoped for some sanctuary from the 100 degree weather. We decided on hot noodle soups since there were no appealing cold noodle dishes and an appetizer of spring rolls. Our appetizer of grilled roses was delightful and I was unable to discern a difference between the vegetarian«meat» and the usual meat found in my spring rolls! My bun rieu was a little lackluster in taste, though I did appreciate the variety of ingredients in it. My friend’s bun bo hue was tasty, but did not leave a lasting impression. Our server was INCREDIBLY attentive and asked us numerous times if we needed anything. Our waters were refilled regularly, though I wished it had more ice to compensate for how warm it was. This is likely a neighborhood gem, but I would go elsewhere for my vegetarian restaurant needs.

I haven’t had vegetarian Vietnamese before so when I stepped in the first thing that came to mind was«where’s the nuoc mam»(fish sauce). They managed to make a substitute but it obviously made me miss the original. As far as the other meat substitutes that they used here, you couldn’t really tell. I split a wonton noodle soup, a vermicelli that typically has bbq beef/pork and shrimp and some egg rolls. They were all reminiscent of the original so for making substitutes like this is quite impressive. Service was a bit spotty… parts where we seemed to be ignored and then parts where we were over attended to… if that makes sense… I did leaving this place wondering what Vietnamese vegetarian tastes like closer to home in Orange County so I am itching to check out some local joints soon!
