This Mc Donald’s is conveniently located near the I5 exit on Richards Blvd, which is excellent for picking up breakfast on the way to work or a late night snack after a night out in mid town. Service here is ok, nothing special than a regular Mc Donald’s. They occasionally do have mistakes on orders however this has occurred to me at other fast food chains as well. Just make sure to re-check your order before leaving the drive thru. What I dislike about this Mc Donald’s is the homeless population that resides in the surrounding area. There are a lot of them who are on the sidewalks and also relaxing inside the restaurant. The homeless here are confrontational and on multiple walk in visits to this restaurant I have been stopped by homeless who were asking for money or food. I have yet to confront homeless people while using their drive thru service. NOTE: I have witnessed a homeless person pick up a Mc Donald’s cup from one of their outside trash bins and walked in to refill that exact same cup… That was very disturbing and dirty. I immediately notified one of staff which immediately sanitized the levers on their machine.

Slowest McDonald’s in Sacramento. The wait is always slow in the drive thru! I’ve waited 15 min before after ordering.

Ordered 10 mcnuggets, got 9 cold ones. Ordered an oreo McFlurry and got vanilla ice cream with a few crumbs of oreos. You want to a make S15/hour? You can’t even count up to 10…

This McDonald’s has a very tight drive-thru where it seems to say, «enter at your own risk.» I’m no weeny, so I’m not freaked out by somewhat risky situations, but the design is just stupid. There is an unprotected gas meter right along the drive-thru path and it would not take much for a drunk driver to hit it while on their hangover binge for grease food nourishment. The restaurant was poorly staffed and it took FOREVER to get our«fast» food. McDonald’s is McDonald’s, so the food was satisfying for what it was, but no different than any other McDonald’s.

I only gave this McDonald’s a 1 star because I had to. Every time I come here there’s a problem. Don’t waste you’re time or money

Has the slowest drive they ever!!! I have decided enough is enough! Their egg mcmuffin bread always tastes stale, coffee hit or miss, but you can always expect a wait in the drive thru regardless if you are the 10th person in line or the only!

This location is close by and right off I-5 so that can be a plus. Whenever I do go inside it is clean and the staff is quick and courteous. Downfall really only hits when they get an order wrong or long drive-thru times. But overall 3 stars for this McD’s.

This Mickey D’s has the worst drive though. Always long lines and they move so slow. Never a quick in and out. I keep coming back thinking it’ll be different each time but always disappointed.

If I could give them 0 stars I would have done it in a heartbeat. This location is pretty close to my apartment in downtown so I used to frequently visit it. Nothing they have is EVER working. I have gone 3 times to get ice cream and each time it wasn’t working. One time, they handed me warm sodas with no ice and no prior warning that they had run out of ice. Also if there is a line, it always moves extremely slow. Not to mention, you can wait 20 minutes in line and they won’t ever apologize for the wait. Terrible customer service. Even though this location is closer to me, I have completely stopped coming here. I will take the longer drive to the K street McDonald’s which is much better.

This is the worst McDonalds on the planet! I have seen paint dry faster then the time you will spend in the drive thru. Then after waiting an avg of 15 min or more(yes that long!!) the food is almost never fresh!!! I have never seen a McDonalds where you wait 5−7min at the pick up window after you have ordered and paid for your food! Don’t go here keep driving!!!

This is the worst drive through. I wish we could assign negative stars. While there are two lanes to order only one line gets serviced at a time. We had a 20 minute wait for three egg mc muffins. We then had to go inside because they got the order wrong.

Came in with another person on a Friday for fast food dinner. Food: Ordered carry-out for a pretty large order, 4 filet-of-fish, 2 large fries, 1 grilled chicken sandwich. Like any other McDonald’s, tasted pretty good. Place: Conveniently located across some hotels and a freeway exit, across a gas station also. But kind of in a sketchy area. The person I was with was ordering while I went to the gas station across to get something else. Said there were a lot of homeless people inside the store, also some outside. Not really appealing. If I’m hungry then yea, but prefer not visit this place again.

The only reason I go here is because it is convenient and I forgot to pick up coffee to brew at home. I have been here a handful of times and every time there is no one in there but I always seem to wait FOREVER(I order a regular coffee and sometimes an oatmeal, just pour the coffee and put water in the oatmeal cup) They are very slow and never very friendly. And yes there are a lot of homeless people who hang out here due to the shelters near by but not once have they asked me for anything or even bothered me. And I’m not sure why someone says it smells because this is one of the cleanest McDonalds I’ve been too.

Went through drive thru to get a McFlurry… not only was it fast but it actually had flavor. Most places barely put any reeses into it. … but this location has made me come back twice now. Good job!

Friendly people but for some reason cheap with the fries. I have twice paid for a large size and got home only to find the box half full. Tired of getting ripped off.

Used the drive thru after getting out of the Sleep Train Arena and wanted late dinner before I made my way to my hotel. Ordered the sweet tea and a chicken McWrap. Drive thru was a breeze and staff was polite. Half a block from the freeway. Very convenient.

This is a very convenient McDonald’s(5 star location), which is just east of the 5 Freeway in Northern Sacramento(less than a block). It is a very clean store as well, and the staff is very friendly. I am amazed that the store is so clean(and smells clean). When I came in at 7:30AM on a Sunday morning, there were about nine homeless men hanging out inside and outside of the store, and everyone wanted me to buy them food. Such is the life in North Sacramento it seems — lots of homeless people. Despite the clean, convenient location and the friendly staff, the food here really does not measure up for McDonald’s. I love McDonald’s coffee, and DH and I each had one. It was about the weakest coffee that I have ever had from McDonald’s. We also each had a Sausage and Egg McMuffin with no cheese(mine was egg white only). The manager checked the order and fixed it before I left, so it was right. However, the English muffin tasted microwaved, rather than toasted, which results in a VERY chewy muffin. The sausage and egg were standard, but that chewy muffin was a real disappointment. For $ 5.97, it is a very cheap breakfast for two. But, I would try to find another McDonald’s that is toasting the muffins. They are so much better!

They’ve screwed up my order more than any McDonalds I’ve ever gone to. I’ve written the manager several times, and the response is always along the lines of «go f*ck yourself». Once again, ordered a deluxe meal(which is $ 7 btw), and they give me some half-assed sandwich with no lettuce or anything, just some sad looking burger patty with old bacon on it. Yay. Stuck going to them as they’re the only fast-food place on the block and I work right down the street, but I would avoid them like the plague otherwise. Unless you also happen to enjoy get harassed by homeless people regularly.
