My sister and I called to see if the stylists knew how to cut natural curly hair and we were told yes. The girl who did my sister’s hair wet her hair down before cutting. The woman who did mine kept it dry and combed my hair out into a frizz, stating that is the only way to cut curly hair. Both of our cuts are absolutely awful! Neither of these woman have any experience with natural curly hair. We will never go back there again.

never had problems. maybe its cuz im a guy and any ol haircut would satisfy me, but its local, the workers are usually attractive asian women, pleasant to converse with throughout the haircutting process. they lose a star mainly due to the pricing ($ 20 for a short mens haircut??) and no deals for frequent visitors (maybe some kinda $ 10 off for every 5 haircuts? i dont know). regardless, no complaints

I’m only giving the 5 starts to the hairdresser named JOHN, everyone else who works there sucks. John was THE best hairdresser, so professional and actually WANTED to be a hairdresser and open his own place. I’m so sad he doesn’t work there anymore, I loved the way he cut and styled my hair!

I went to this Mastercuts for a haircut. I showed the stylist a picture of the cut that I wanted. I made it very clear that I wanted no more than an inch of hair cut off. I even showed the stylist how much he could take off. He started cutting my hair and kept telling me that he was going to have to cut it shorter in the back to get it to style right. Each time I would ask him how much shorter he needed to go-​he would tell me about another inch (he did this three times). Then he hands me a mirror to look at my hair and tells me that the cut is ok, but I won’t be able to style it. WTF??? He ended up taking 6 inches off the back of my hair, my sides were not even and my hair was a total mess! I actually started to cry. this idiot screwed up my hair majorly and then started laughing about it. I would never go to another Mastercuts again. This stylists name was Jose.
