Mack Powell Event Center

I had my wedding at the Mack Powell Event Center on July 12^th.
I have nothing bad to say about this place. Fiona was amazing to
work with and I will recommend this place to anyone doing a DIY wedding
and is looking for a great deal. :)

My fiancé and I have visited the Mack Powell Event Center as a possible wedding venue. Our first meet up was with Fiona Ross, who was wonderfully kind and quick to respond to all of our inquiries. After a tour, she printed out a quick mock up for us on paper to show us different ways we can utilize the space, which was extremely helpful. This is the perfect blank canvas if you are looking to build your dream wedding from the ground up – unlike a lot of other venues, Mack Powell Center does not have binding restrictions with caterers, etc., so you can really budget the wedding the way you want it! Rental rates are extremely reasonable, so the possibilities are endless.
Ultimately, we did not host our wedding here, but only because neither my fiancé and I had enough time and stamina to take the space and make it our own. I strongly recommend anyone who is more dedicated to take the time and check them out!

Our group had an event at this center. We were treated very well. The facility was clean and the event coordinator, Fiona, was great! I strongly recommend this facility for any event.

This place is great for a variety of events, whether it’s a reception, social gathering of some type or a business meeting. I’ve held several business meetings here and have always been pleased with the results. Deborah G. is great to work with! She’s professional, reliable, very well organized and will make sure your event is perfect from start to end.

The Mack Powell Event Center is an awesome place to hold a business meeting, reception, party, wedding reception, etc. The facility is comfortable and can be transformed easily into whatever theme you want to have. The Mack Powell Event Center has a very good sound system and audio visual capabilities so if you want to play music or show a power point presentation you will be able to without any problems.
The Mack Powell Event Center Staff, consisting of Kyle, Brad and Tyler is awesome. Kyle, Brad and Tyler will make sure that your event is a success because they will set up the center the way you want it set up, be there during your event to make sure that everything goes as planned and then help with the clean up after your event is over.

Working for a not-​for-​profit organization myself, I understand the importance of customer service. Renting out the Mack Powell Event Center for our company’s gathering was a shot in the dark. It was our first time using another venue due to our current renovations at our location. Being crunched with time and demands to meet, we needed a place quickly. I heard from a fellow colleague that the venue and service at the MPEC was second to none, so we decided it was our best option being that we had minimal time to look for another location. After we made an appointment to book the venue for the nearing date, Kyle Tanaka (Events/​Marketing Coordinator), took it upon himself to show us around the Event Center. He was professional, courteous and understanding of our time crunch we were under. As the event commenced, he was there for every beck and call with a great attitude and phenomenal service. We look forward to booking future events at the Mack Powell Event Center and hope that Kyle Tanaka will be working along side us!
