Love the soups and Chinese chicken salad. I personally like how they hire people with diverse backgrounds. I am partial to the locations that employ adults are developmentally delayed because everyone had something to contribute. The only downfall… why don’t all of them have salami sandwiches?

They totally missed my order. I waited for a while and then went up to the counter and the girl tried to say they called it out. Bullshit. How about apologize instead of making excuses. I then had 10 min to eat because of it

Come here almost every day for lunch. Very friendly staff. Great food. Fair prices. I can’t even tell you how many times I have ordered to go here and we have only gotten the cesear salad, Chinese chicken salad, and recently the Vietnamese Pulled pork sandwich. Delicious! I guess when I find something I like, I stick to it.

–Tiny black hairs all over my bread and found one in my soup –Nasty bathrooms –Overly priced I am giving it 2 stars because my girlfriend liked her salad. I probably will not come back to this location at least.

This café had a delicious variety of soups and salads that appeals to a variety of preferences. The Asian salad was the highlight. Their hot tea options were also appreciated.

I usually get the roast beef on croissant and the Asian noodle salad. Both are great. The staff is friendly and quick. Place can get busy during lunch so try to beat the rush if you’re running short on time

Absolutely horrible service. Visited this location today around 12 pm. It took the lady at the cash register forever to take our order, she just kept getting it wrong and I had to repeat it over 10 times. Once our order was ready(took about thirty minutes for our food to come out even though the restaurant was nearly empty) there were multiple things wrong with our order. My family owns a restaurant so trust me I know what it’s like to run one, this owner needs to reevaluate their employees. Horrible horrible horrible!

My husband and I had lunch there on Friday and the service was terrible. We found out La Bou sold that restaurant to a couple that is at the register taking orders. It took almost 15 minutes for the order to be correct and another 30 minute wait for the food. This WASMYFAVORITE La Bou now I am not coming back again the service was terrible and the food is not the same. Sucks

Came here almost everyday as a kid and all I ate was bread and butter, haha! That’s how good their bread is

This establishment is on it’s last legs. Couldn’t serve breakfast sandwiches because of no eggs at 08:30am. Pitiful.

Went for lunch. Basil pasta salad was really good. Service was ok. I love the dill dressing. It’s great to dip you sandwich or bread in.

Love this place! We go here all the time. Great sandwiches, salads, soups and cookies! They are always fast and efficient. Kim and Maria are awesome(I think they could be managers)!!! This is my favorite La Bou location! You must go!

Nothing beats a classic croissant sandwich, I usually order on the phone and pick up with in 15 minutes. Quick lines.

Customer service sucks, had a dining room employee cut in front of me to get to counter while the register girls ignored me.

Not good service! We won’t be back and we love La Bou! No smiles out of the waitresses; no pleasantries. Bathroom was grossly dirty. Had to wait awhile for our salads to be made! We won’t be coming back for sure!

My favorite lunch spot for their sandwiches, soup and baguettes. If you are looking for a place to catch up with friends, eat a quick lunch, or just enjoy good food, this is a good place to go! I definitely recommend their baguettes with dill sauce(sauce is amazzzingg)! I also love all their sandwiches, and for salad, I always get either Chinese Chicken Salad or Asian Noodle Salad. Either way, you will not be disappointed.

I have lived nearby almost my entire life, so my wife was stunned to hear that I have never been here before. I know a lot of people love La Bou and will never turn down a chance to go. I like sandwiches, soups, and salads, but I’m never one to say, «Hey, lets go out and get a half sandwich and soup.» I guess that’s why I’ve never been. Plus, it seems like most people I know that like La Bou seem to be female. Not really sure what that means, but I am just saying. I had a swiss cheese and ham panini and the spicy thai soup. I also had some of my wife’s salad too. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t see what all the fuss was about. The panini could have been pressed a little longer, because the bread was still kind of soft. The bread, cheese, and ham were just bread cheese and ham, nothing spectacular about any of them. The thai soup was OK too. It was a little on the thin side and wasn’t memorable either. The salad was a salad. It wasn’t expensive, but it wasn’t cheap either. I don’t think I will be back unless someone makes me go again. Maybe I am missing something, I don’t know. Honestly, I think people just like to say, «Let’s go to La Bou!» because now that I think about it, it actually does have a nice ring to it. Bottom line: There are better sandwich and soup places with less nice sounding names.

Food was great, in the sense that you are able to taste the actual content of the sandwiches instead of overkill sauces. Service was great too. Lady was kind and helpful. Even gave me a sample of soup! I came with my family because we were on our way to South Lake Tahoe and we don’t know the area at all, so we randomly excited the freeway and took a chance. And hit the jackpot, so to speak. Would definitely suggest this place to friends and family if you’re ever heading to the Sac or Tahoe area! Lastly, I felt that the price you pay is definitely worth it, maybe because I ordered Avocado Specialty Sandwich combo with their Tomato Soup, comes in around $ 9 – 10. IMHO, better than subway. BUT, that’s just me!
