I took my 9 year old son here, and we both ended up getting haircuts. Kim is very pleasant and takes her time to cut your hair right. She listens to how you want your hair cut. She did an excellent job on my haircut and my son’s haircut. I’ve tried salons and other barbershops, and they don’t compare to here. You can’t beat the price either!

I went in on a whim and found that the shop is under new management. The new owner cut my hair. He handled himself professionally, knew what he was talking about and gave a very good, old-​fashioned haircut. He used a straight-​edge razor for getting his edges precise. Trimmed eye brows, shaved neck without being prompted. Been trying different hair places, but this was one where I felt I was in good hands.

I go here regularly. They are always pleasant, and do a good job for me.
Some people are put off with the atmosphere. The original owner opened here due to the close proximity to McClellan AFB, so there are Three Stooges, and aircraft pictures (probably given by the Airmen) displayed.
If you want a picture perfect atmosphere, and pay about double, this might not be your cup of tea.
I just want a haircut, when I go to a barbershop.

I got a pretty good haircut here from an older gentleman. He took his time to do it right and I was extremely pleased. I got many other haircuts here as well. Kim does a decent job as well. Best to go on Mondays and ask for the older guy.

This place is hit and miss… some of the barbers will listen to your instructions while others just do what they want. Don’t get me wrong, I have received a decent cut here once.
The last time I asked for a fade I received a high & tight that was SUPER HIGH and SUPER TIGHT. I looked like I should have been securing a perimeter at Blackhawk Down. It was definitely not a fade
Go here if you feel like rolling the dice. Johanne Barber is a better choice.
