Stopped by in desperate need of essentials, had everything I needed and great service. Chris the owner also helped with some great info !

Came in with two buddies about a month ago. The long-​haired gentleman (Chris I think?) was a fantastic resource with a wealth of knowledge. He provided us with everything we needed for our setup and guided us through the usage of each piece. Really cool shop and people, definitely come by and give these guys your business!

This was our first visit to a hydro shop, and we know now that we won’t have to look any further for knowledgeable and friendly staff that provide top shelf customer service. We went in to buy some containers and growing medium for our organic garden, and ended up leaving with an entirely new set up. Noah was incredibly patient with all of our questions, and not only did he explain what would be the most useful for us, but WHY it would be useful, and he made sure that we got the most bang out of our buck – there was no upsell or encouragement to get a bunch of things we didn’t need – just great customer service to make sure that we got what we required to accomplish what we set out to do. This is exactly why we prefer to shop locally rather than just order supplies online – sometimes you need someone to walk you through your choices and help educate you on what will give you the most gardening success. The store carries most everything in house, and what can’t be had in the moment is readily available within a day or two. I prefer excellent customer service over instant gratification, and when you add that to good prices, I can’t imagine taking my business elsewhere.

I came in for some help growing my heirloom tomatoes. Dave explained how to use ladybugs and praying mantis to keep the bad bugs away — he even showed me how to train the ladybugs to stick around. Train ladybugs?!
Chris, the owner, was really helpful as well with recommendations for my vermicasting tea project.
They have the latest and top brands in everything you could need for your garden.
Stop in and let these guys help you out. They’re knowledgeable and ready to help! Now if I could only train the ladybugs to pick the tomatoes…

Still friendly? Yes! Still knowledgable? Yes!
Even though they have moved to a smaller space, I still think they could be great. So why did my review go down from five stars to three? They aren’t stocking nearly as much.
Don’t get me wrong, on my last two trips they’ve been adamant that whatever I needed that they didn’t have could be ordered and in stock in a few days.
This misses the point of a brick a mortar store though. In this day and age of online stores with great prices, if I show up in a real store, it’s because I need the item now!
If I have to wait a few days to get it because you need to order it for me, I’m just going to order it myself and save some cash! Or better yet, go somewhere else and get it right now!
The smaller space is cool and the employees are still awesome. Let’s get some items in stock now!
Soil variety and TDS meters are definitely something a hydro store should never be out of!

They have a great selection of every thing you will need for indoor growing, container gardening or even your backyard.
Friendly educated staff, has lots of information available (Maximum Yield, Urban Garden and Rosebud magazines in store) and great prices.
Next time I need something for my garden I will stop here.

Great place. I have been there twice and both times left there smarter. The Guy that works there is smart and very helpful. They don’t try to push anything on you. There prices seems a little high but they talked about beating deals and making them. Great place I think I will be doing more business here.

The owner, Chris is quite knowledgeable and very friendly. He has a wealth of experience in growing organic gardens and he owns four other garden stores. The focus of this store is on organic gardening.
The owner has a B.S. degree in Earth Science/​Geology and was previously a High School environmental science teacher — he definitely is knowledgeable about organic gardening.
