Just went to the place yesterday for the first time. They have 15 pound bags of white and brown rice for 15 dollars which is way cheaper than the co-op. They have a separate seafood section with several different kinds of shrimp, fresh fish, oysters, lobsters. And then a meat counter with affordable cuts of meat. A huge aisle of Asian condiments, some produce, and about 50 different kinds of noodles. I got shrimp, pork loin, and noodles and it all came to about 9 dollars. I will definitely be returning. The only thing is – they prefer cash so if you pay with a card they charge you 75 cents. And almost nobody speaks English so be prepared to point!

This place is a great source for exotic asian ingredients. They’ve also got garlic, ginger, and shallots for less than your regular retail supermarket. Oh, and there’s a separately-owned fish counter in the store, with really fresh, and hi-quality selections. The friendly fishmonger will gut and scale and prep your fish any way you like.
