Genoa Soapstone, Marble & Granite

I can’t say enough about these guys. They were awesome to work with and my counter and backsplash look amazing. John, the owner, arrived the day after my initial phone call to give me an estimate. He verbally told me the cost, but then sent me a written estimate via email that night. I’ve found this is rare among the construction industry. Usually, they’ll take forever getting you an estimate, then it’ll only be given verbally. I originally choose a slab of marble at Medimer and John scheduled to pick it up before my job. When he arrived at my house to make the counter template, we got to talking and I decided I wanted a thicker slab. John told me that was no problem, gave me his revised quote and made some phone calls to find one. He then told me that he’d return the slab from Medimer and I could go choose a thicker one. I had NO idea he had already picked up the other slab! He didn’t even make a fuss about going to the trouble to return it and pick up the new one. VERY professional and kind, in my opinion. The crew arrived on time and were really nice and professional. I originally hired them to install my counter only, but I ended up hiring them to add the tile backsplash as well, and they got it done the day after the counter installation. I’ve already scheduled them to install my tile floors and they’ll start next week. I can’t recommend Genoa enough.
