Great automotive repair shop — I’ve been servicing all my cars (BMW, Lexus) here for 7+ years, they charge much less than the dealer (only $ 50/​hr), yet do quality, professional work. The owner of the shop is an honest middle aged guy and has a team of guys doing the work: they did all basic automotive work on my cars and more challenging tasks like transmission oil/​filter change, cooling system overhaul, timing belt replacement and even rebuilt the head gasket on my brother’s Civic — all for less than other shops charge. They also allow me to bring my own parts, unlike most other places, so I save 50−60% on parts by buying them online. Highly recommend this place.

If I could give them a negative rating I would. (May have to settle for Unilocal & Department of Consumer Affairs complaints) Took my car there to get checked out on a referral. They looked at it, gave me an estimate and said to bring it back. I asked when. They said bring it in the morning at 9:00 a.m., and that it would take about 3 hours. I waited about 4 hours and called. They said:
«It is not ready and it would be ready when it’s ready” – maybe by the end of the day, the next day (Friday), or Monday.
This necessitated getting a rental car for an indefinite duration. Use them only if you don’t mind leaving your car with them to be returned when they’re good and ready.

These guys are awesome! Got a refferal here from my dad some time ago and have used them for various repairs for well over a year. They are totally honest and straightforward about what needs to be done and really have great pricing compared to other places. Another shop wanted $ 190 to replace the timing belt on my toyota, these guys did it for less than $ 50 bucks! The majority of the time, it doesn’t even take them longer than a few hours to finish the repairs.

This is the best car repair place in Sacramento! It’s a small, hidden place that my friend told me about and I started going there the last few years and they are great! They are completely honest about what your car needs and doesn’t need. Their prices can’t be beat and I tell everyone about them. I definitely recommend them!
