Fresh Made Yogurt Cafe

This place is always good after a workout or before class! I usually only get the yugurt smoothies and they never dissapoint! But I’m not sure if they are still open, last time I was there they were closed.

When I started working at the Vision Center at The Well this week and discovered that there is a frozen yogurt shop right across the atrium, I knew it was game over for me. I’m pretty proud to say that I’ve only given into the froyo temptation ONCE this week (I work Wed-​Fri). ;)
There’s a nice menu for the café here too. About 4 types of sandwiches, 4 salads, soups, pastries, smoothies, etc.
On Thurs I decided to try the sandwiches. I couldn’t decide between the turkey salad and the fire-​roasted chicken salad sandwich, so I decided to get the turkey salad sandwich that day and get the other one on Fri.
Both are really similar, just different meats. You could request different bread too. The turkey usually comes with cranberry-​walnut bread (delish!), and the chicken usually comes with sourdough bread. You could also get the bread toasted, which really adds a lot to the quality. You’re also asked if you want mustard. The sandwiches are very customizable, if you don’t like something, you can just request to have it omitted.
There’s 4 flavors of froyo here… usually vanilla, chocolate, a fruity one, and a tart fruity one. A variety of toppings, but not much fresh fruit (just strawberries mostly). They do have mochi.
The ambiance is nice. The Well is a new building, and this café benefits from that. There’s seating and even a lounge-​y area with couches and a flat screen TV (playing ESPN last time I checked).
Quality and service here are good. The only reason to dock a star is that I’m hungry again just a few hours after eating that sandwich, and that there aren’t many fresh fruit toppings for the froyo. Would be nice to have more tart flavors too, like Yotasia on the other side of campus (which I haven’t tried yet).
I’ll definitely be frequenting this place! 10% discount if you work at the WELL. =)

I went here because I saw online that they had salads. The first review pretty much sums it up. There are more than just yogurt, not sure why they even decided to call it a yogurt café.
I had the Mediterranean Salad. She made it right in front of me and you can even tell her if you don’t want anything on it. Although, it’s a little bit more expensive than the other salads around campus. It’s a nice size though.
The reason why I gave it such a high rating? Because it’s probably one of the healthier restaurant/​café on campus. It’s a little pricey, but it beats the pre-​made salads at round table and The Buzz. I’m just tired of Panda express, burger king, and the greasiness that I have a hard time deciding on (because I want a healthier choice). If I had to generalize the rating, it would probably be 3 Stars.
It’s located at The Well and It’s a little walk from the main dining areas but it was pretty empty (since I don’t think people know it exists) and you can watch some t.v. while you eat. They also sell (pre-​made) protein shakes/​bars for those going into the gym.
I would go back to try their yogurt and sandwiches. I think people should give it a try, if they are passing by or want a healthier choice besides subway.

Don’t be fooled by the name – they serve way more than just yogurt (sandwiches, salads, smoothies, fresh squeezed juice). Finally, a restaurant on campus that has healthy options! My items of choice are the veggie bagel sandwich or a fresh made salad. Most other places on campus have pre-​made salads that are super expensive and not very good. Needless to say, I’m super excited that Fresh Made’s salads really are freshly made.
It’s located in the The Well, so it’s nice, clean and brand new. There’s lots of various seating: tables, bar stools, couch, and chairs. They even have a flat screen TV if you want to take a break from studying and just veg out for a bit.
