Service was nothing short of terrible. Was informed there was a 20 min wait for a taco, despite no one in line. Went next door & overheard many people complaining about the wait & service. Need to get it together.

So, starting with the negatives. The cashier was mean mugging me, I assume it was nothing personal, just a bad attitude. The chips were stale and unsalted. I swear they watered down the salsa to the point that tomato was not the main ingredient. And in the process of eating my burrito, probably half a cup of meat broth sloshed out, barely missing the computer next to me as I was eating at the I-can’t-be-off-my-computer bar for solo travelers. On the positive side — the burrito tasted great! That meat broth was annoyingly overabundant, but man was it good. Hot peppers. Plenty of chicken. I had it in hand within 3 minutes. And while I like Chipotle, these burritos were pleasantly smaller, so I didn’t have food coma afterwards. Plus, it smelled great.

Should have read reviews first. My experience: 5 people working that I’ve seen. 1 taking the orders and making the food, the rest pulling caltrans duty standing around with shovels. #youreworkingthereforever. «Spicy» burrito anything but #falseadvertising. Chips were stale and accompanying salsa tasted like it was made for egg roles #easeuponthesugarnumbskull. Burrito was sopping wet(this was supposed to be a dry burrito) #solvecaliforniasdrought.

Small and sad… That’s what I thought when I first saw my Dos Cyotes’ Southwest Chicken Burrito. It looked wrinkly and deflated. Like an old bike tire that has grown soft and squishy after sitting in a field for years. The chips weren’t a home run either. They didn’t seem very crisp, maybe even a little stale. Something was wrong with them. They don’t give you many either. That’s right! They’re chincy on the chips! I was still hungry after eating my dinner. I kept thinking my burrito was missing something. What was it… What was it… Then I realized it was rice and beans! My burrito didn’t have any! I went back to the restaurant to ask them about it and read the menu again. It turns out my burrito isn’t supposed to have any rice and beans. Which is weird. I’ve never had one without them. Which begs the question, is it still a burrito, or just a round quesadilla? Burrito, quesadilla, bursadilla, whatever you want to call it, it left me feeling flat.

It might not have been so bad if I would have gotten what I ordered. So be sure to look at your receipt and clarify with the cashier if you aren’t sure that what you ordered is on the receipt. I ordered a Ponderosa Breakfast Sandwich but got a breakfast burrito.

Really good food. Horrible service. The staff is awful. They are SO rude and don’t share so much as a smile with you.

Either the staff have no work ethic or the manager makes their lives terrible– I have no idea what is happening here, but these employees are acting like they are going off to their death. As a retail manager, I would review what the needs of the business more and hire people that weren’t so miserable. Sorry– I think you have your work cut out for you!

Oh my goodness this place is sloooooooooooow. The employees here need desperately to be educated in the concept of fast food. Hello, you are working in an airport, not a senior citizens home! Your customers don’t have much time and they need to get their food and go. I watched as the person who painstakingly assembled my chicken taco referred to the order slip at least five times during the process of putting it together. Hello, it’s a chicken taco! Tortilla, chicken, cheese, lettuce, done! How many of these have you made before? I’ve had good experiences at every other Dos Coyotes I visited, with fast service and good food. If they can’t train the employees to work faster, they should seriously consider shutting this location down because it would dissuade anyone who goes here from giving any other Dos Coyotes a try. Next time I’m going to try to Jack’s Urban Eats right next door.

I was running late and grabbed a breakfast quesadilla but beware they are actually huge! I also had to wait to eat it so when I got on the plane the grease from the cheese had soaked the tortilla. Overall you get a lot of food for the money but it’s very messy and just OK.

Amazing salads. I had the Adobe steak salad with vinaigrette. Fast friendly service and the salad was delicious! Will stop by here again when at the airport!

Food took 15 minutes. Food is low quality, not at all like real dos coyotes. For example, the corn is like canned corn. The workers move as slow as sloths and seem to care less Very sad for dos coyotes. I do not recommend nor will I be back.

Like most have said, they are very slow. Don’t seem to understand that most travelers need something quick to-go. Usually I grab a breakfast burrito when I fly in the morning. Today I chose the guac and chips. The container was maybe ¾ full. The cashier warned me that the chips were very hot. Nope not from being freshly cooked, but father from sitting under a heater to the point where they smelled and tasted burnt. Ended up throwing half the nasty chips away due to taste and lack of guac.

Seriously terrible. I have been here half-dozen times on the way to LA for a business trip. I come here because I am usually in a «hurry» and the options are limited unless I want to sit down. I usually get a breakfast sandwich. They are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow it is disgusting. Why can’t they serve with excellent service like they do at their other locations? Today, I witness their recipe for eggs. It’s gross. One scoop oil, one scoop eggs. This is NOT and exaggeration. They honestly use an entire scoop for two scoops of eggs. I am sick to my stomach typing this. I can’t imagine it is that much cheaper than just spraying Pam on it. Ohh well. I likely won’t be. Ack here now. Would rather just get a bagel the a disgusting breakfast from here.

S-l-o-w, which is the kiss of death for most travelers. It was painful to watch the lethargic food handlers move without purpose, direction or any sense of urgency. It was even more painful to watch the waiting customers watching the clock, watch the kitchen slugs, and repeat that pattern over and over, hoping that they wouldn’t miss a flight. My fish tacos took 26 minutes from the time I ordered until I got them so I could dash off to my gate. It’s a hard pass for this food stand next time I pass through Sacramento. Save yourself the frustration and skip this business.

Slowest Dos in the chain. Considering it’s an open kitchen you would think the employees would be more conscientious that they are standing around talking while people are waiting. It was excruciating watching how slow they move to put food on the grill and prepare the order because they are too busy talking. Two stars just because it’s Dos Coyotes and the shrimp burrito is awesome. Edited from two to one stars. Got home and realized the rice was completely under cooked. Nobody likes a hard and crunchy shrimp burrito… so disappointing for my favorite menu item…

Terrible. Where is the manager. Pay $ 10 for dinky tacos that I watch employees scrounge for on plates. Really a waste of money. additionally the grill is charred so badly there was a 3in thick layer of crust on it

Mmm… melted super cheesy quesadilla treat. Lots of spinach to counter the effects of all the cheesy calories. I am satisfied. I forgot to ask for sour cream. Oh well. Staff pleasant. Cashier informed me the quesadilla is assembled fresh, so a 5-minute wait. Nice! It’s been a long time since I visited Dos Cotyotes. Pleased I did.

I had a layover at SMF yesterday and needed dinner. Unfortunately, I didn’t check Unilocal reviews before grabbing food. I ordered the Yin Yang salad, which sounded great on the menu. When the employee was making my salad, I was in awe because she literally kept piling heaps of vegetables into my to-go box. The salad looked great, and it was HUGE, but the flavor was nonexistent. The chicken was dry and overcooked, and the dressing was completely flavorless. For $ 11, at least I got to eat a ton of vegetables, even if they were plain. I would give this establishment 1 star, but I’m adding a 2nd star because of the large portion they gave. The place to the right of Dos Coyotes looked better, but they were out of EVERYTHING that I tried to order. I would recommend trying their food over Dos Coyotes.
