I have worked with Kevin high profile events two years in a row and he has proven, to be a joy and a pleasure to work with. He comes with a wealth of knowledge on how to keep attendees entertained and engaged, and his style and ability to transform a space is second to none. He also has a ton of contacts and vendor relationships in the industry, which helps every step along the way. Lastly, Kevin works miracles with a budget, never went over and always saved us a bundle.

Kevin booked me as the entertainer for one of his events around the holidays, so he gets 5 stars right off the bat for that, but I can say, as someone who has been to a lot of fancy events, Kevin and his crew outdid themselves. The ballroom was transformed into a magical space that immediately created a sense of enchantment, fantasy, and fun that was tasteful and elegant. Having spoken with Kevin, I know his visions are even more fantastic then he can sometimes realize given budget restraints, but you wouldn’t know the difference. He was also very easy to work with, and very professional. If you want an event that is truly memorable and out of the ordinary, Do An Event are the ones to work with.

It’s rare thing to find a person who is both highly creative AND detailed-​oriented. Very unprofessional! I emailed him an inquiry regarding my upcoming event and after not hearing back from him, I decided to follow-​up with a phone call. I was shocked at his response: «I wasn’t interested in your event so I deleted your email». Do yourself a favor and hire an actual professional instead of this guy! NOT recommended.

Our company, Esche & Alexander Public Relations handles PR for the Professional Beauty Federation of California. Each year for the past 5 years (I’ve lost track now) we have contracted Do an Event (better known as Kevin Cohee) to handle our complex tent setup on the south steps of the Capitol building. Hundreds of legislators and staffers pour in for 4 hours to experience the sights and comfort of the beauty industry environment that Do an Event creates for us each year. Each year Kevin brings a unique twist and look to the tent on the steps… always intimate, fun, and fashion forward.
The name of our event is «Welcome to Our World» better known in the beauty industry as the ‘WOW’ event. Aside from the wonderful stylists, estheticians and nail technicians that serve our guests, the staff of Do an Event is an integral part of why WOW becomes even more WOW every year.
Every detail of our event is anticipated and handled with grace and ease. Kevin makes my job easy. It’s great to be a hero to our client, and in great part it’s Kevin’s hard work that makes us appear so. I see another reviewer said they give 110%. I’d score even higher.
